Gliss Yacht

This beautiful turquoise sailing yacht is the Gliss, a 31m Philippe Briand yacht. The yacht, built by Royal Huisman, was recently moored in front of the Amsterdam's Maritime Museum for her christening ceremony. She has now been dispatched to her Mediterranean home. Gliss has a spacious living area, day head, third guest cabin and crew accommodations with separate entrance, two guest cabins and an aft master suite. The deckhouse has push button slide down side windows for indoor / outdoor living. The yacht is designed to be fast but also comfortable enough for family cruising. Designer Pieter Beeldsnijder used limed oak, cork floors, black granite counters and vibrant colors to create a relaxed and elegant look. Amenities for cruising include a deck with spacious lounging areas that have integrated sunbathing beds and a carbon fiber swim platform.

Vitrivius Yacht

Those who appreciate the particular brand of yacht hotness embodies by the Wally Power yachts will probably love this brand new design project developed by Philippe Briand and Lürssen Yachts.  The 180-foot Vitruvius is made of Alustar, a material stronger than aluminum. The yacht can hit top speeds of more than 20 knots and cruises at 18 knots while using half as much fuel as a conventional yacht of the same size. The owner's suite is located midship and spans the width of the yacht. The boat can host 10 guests and the aft platform features a sunbathing area and plunge pool. Yachtfourms has more pictures of the design.
