Tiffany Follows Up Keys With Locks

Tiffany has had a hit on its hands the last couple of years with its line of key designs. It's no surprise then that the jeweler has gone back into its archives to create Tiffany locks. The new line seems to take its inspiration from two popular Tiffany lines, the aforementioned keys and the Return to Tiffany oval and heart-shaped tags. I stepped into the Tiffany & Co. store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills to take a closer look.

Lotus Flower Chandelier

Lotus Flower Chandeliers are created by artisans combining hundreds of hand-cut capiz shells edged in metal together into large pearl and smoke colored spheres. When lit from within the pendants shimmer and shine like stained glass and look equally impressive hanging alone or in a grouping. Two sizes (13" and 21" diameters) are available from Viva Terra for $329 and $629, and in keeping with their eco-friendly and sustainable stance as many supplies as possible are recycled and reclaimed in the manufacturing of the product -- plus the company recommends using an energy saving light bulb to illuminate your new purchase.

Most Wanted Design Jewelry

Carlos Souza lives a fabulous life (for proof just check out the pictures of his homes in Rome and New York on Habitually Chic). Not only has he worked with Valentino and other designers during his decades-long career but he is also the Creative Director behind Most Wanted Design, an innovative jewelry company with a variety of collection that are wittily elegant. The ring shown here is from the You Are My Queen collection and sells for $3,000 at Vivre.

Tom Dixon Designs in the U.S. this Summer

If you've already heard of Tom Dixon then you'll be glad to know his designs are making the move the to the States this summer. And if you haven't heard of him well then a taste of his work is pictured here, Copper Shade Pendants. They're plastic polycarbonate pendant globes coated internally with copper that look equally beautiful hanging solo or in a large group. Other designs of his that catch my eye are the Fresh Fat Easy Chair and the Spin articulated table candelabra.
