X-Ray Pendant Lamp

The Crepax & Zanon X-ray pendant lamp draws on the concept of "bands which intersect." Made from glass using a complicated-sounding technique of rotational molding, the design for this piece was inspired by the architecture of a stadium. The frosted white ribbons of glass weave across each other, creating a symmetrical pattern back-lit by glowing light. Available for incandescent or fluorescent bulbs, the large version measures 25 5/8" W by 7 1/8" high and sells for $1739.
