Pelikan’s  beautiful “Colossus of Rhodes” fountain pen celebrates one of the vanished great wonders of the world. The fountain pen, like the original Colossus is partly made of bronze. The edition number is engraved on the filler knob end and Pelikan has created 408 of these pens in order to celebrate the founding of the town of Rhodes in 408 B.C. The shaft of the pen shows a golden replica of the statue and the cap is  bronze with gold-plating. The bronze clip is gold-plated and has a Greek key design. The pen has a suggested price of $3,600 but can be bought for $2,699.
