Intricate beadwork like this always comes off as so wonderfully earthy and luxe at the same time -- not something that's easy to do. This cute little number is the Perlee Small Beaded Cross-Body Bag by Paul & Joe. It has a multicolor beaded "festival" print with tassels everywhere -- little beaded ones and big tan leather ones. It features nude leather trim on the top with white leather stitching detail, a white leather braided shoulder/cross-body strap, and it's fully lined in gray twill. It's open at the top, which fits the beautifully easy-going vibe. A steal at $315.

12 Chic Capes for the Fall

Capes seem to be everywhere this season. They serve well as chic transitional outwear for chilly weather without unnecessarily committing to a bulky, blizzard-ready winter jacket.

After browsing through an abundance of styles, it was a pleasant surprise to find capes that are laid back and casual as well as super luxurious and elegant. The choices are endless matching whatever occasion you may encounter.

Given a cape's voluminous silhouette, add balance by pairing with slim fitting trousers or even jeans and viola - you have yourself a stylish and on trend outfit with little effort.

Initially, I would suggest wearing heels to add height and avoid looking frumpy, but when I came across Gryphon's Sherlock Cape ($595) - featured to the right - I was actually surprised how well it works even with the most casual of outfits. What a great look for cool fall days while you're out and about.

Paul & Joe for Target

First, Target had Luella, then their international line got even better with Tara Jarmon, but on August 1st, the chain will introduce a fall line by Paul & Joe. Paul & Joe is a line headed by French designer Sophie Albou and named after her two sons. She started with menswear, but quickly added women's clothing and accessories that fit in to Albou's "anti-conformist" style. Silk and lace accents can be found in the Target pieces and, at a price point that is more affordable than you will find at Barney's, the collection is work checking out.
