Paradigm Sound Systems

Audio systems maker Paradigm has created a new line of speakers designed to work with your flatscreen TV. There are four separate systems designed for different applications.

The first is the Paradigm Vista system, a strictly a speaker set-up including Paradigm's new Millenia S1, C1 and ADP1 loudspeakers. It has front and rear speakers which are designed for bookshelf mounting but can be also be used with floorstands. It sells for $5,100

The Paradigm Impact system is a slim floorstanding system designed for places where space is at a premium. It sells for $11,400.

The Paradigm Prestige system uses Paradigm's Studio Series speakers with Anthem Statement amplification and AV processing. The system is designed for high-end sound but is also compact enough to sit on a bookshelf. It sells for $19,800.

The top-of-the-line system is the Paradigm Elitist, the ultimate Paradigm entertainment system that uses a preamplifier/processor combination from the Anthem Statement Seriesd with Paradigm's Seismic 12 subwoofer and floorstanding Studio Series loudspeakers for deep bass, low distortion and exceptional definition. It sells for $23,600.

Paradigm Millennia Speakers

Paradigm Electronics has released a new line of speakers meant to complement flat screen television home theater systems. The Paradigm Millenia 300 speakers are long and thin, packing six drivers into a four-foot aluminum frame that sits on a glass base. The 300 also has three 5-1/2-inch precision-engineered mineral-filled polypropylene bass cones with neodymium magnets and the new HTD™ system. The speakers have a composite MDF/aluminum baffle andan acoustically inert extruded-aluminum enclosure to offer big sound in a slim silhouette. The speakers sell for $1,999 per pair.

Paradigm Rock Speakers

The Rock Monitor from Paradigm is designed to blend in outdoors. The Rock Monitor 60-SM uses the same technology found in the company’s  indoor Monitor series, including two 1-inch PTD™ pure-titanium domes and a 6-1/2-inch mineral-filled polypropylene bass/midrange cone. The speaker has a stereo/mono option so that you can use just one rock in a smaller space. The speaker’s sealed cabinet is made of a weather-, water- and UV-resistant polymer with self-draining fissures. It comes in three faux-stone finishes: Fieldstone, Northeastern Dark Granite, or Western Sandstone and it sells for  $249. It will be available this spring.
