Retro Piano Painted Headphones from Panasonic

Earphones are getting smaller and less obtrusive by the minute, sometimes at the expense of sound quality and comfort. The Panasonic RP-HTX7 Retro Piano Painted Headphones are the complete opposite. They are large, comfortable and some in eye-catching colors that go well with their vintage look. The sound quality is excellent, with clear definition of the notes and a powerful base. The cord is 1.2 meters long, so it will provide a wide range of motion with portable and stationary players, but a 2 meter extension cord is included for addition range. Price: $60.

103" Plasma TV Update

Since our last post on the subject of the 103" plasma screen TV from Matsushita, the Japanese parent company of Panasonic, the company has released its pricing information. The price tag will be $51,000. The Viera PZ600 high-definition TVs will come in 50", 58" and 65" screens, in addition to the 103" size, and prices for those will start at $5,800. It also sounds like the screens will be available earlier than we previously forecasted, with a release date as early as this fall, instead of next year.
