Chloe Paddington Capsule, Handbag of the Day

I am not sure about the color of this bag. They call it 'elephant' and I think it is aptly named, I just can't decide if I like it. I do like the front flap pocket with the signature padlocked chain across it. Shiny gold-tone hardware abounds on this bag, with lots of buckles and studs. The designer knew when to stop with the gold, however, and used leather tabs for the zipper pulls. Inverted gussets on each side make this a roomy bag and the rolled leather handles look sturdy and comfortable. $1780.

One of the best things about fall - aside from a change in brutally hot weather - is that it means it is once again acceptable to wear boots with most outfits. Targ�t Couture Leather Padlock Handbags, Handbag of the Day

Did you know that Intuition has launched a line of products called Targèt Couture? They collaborated with local LA designers to put together some dazzing designs that all feature a classic red and white logo. We have no idea where they got that idea....

If you're interested in picking up some of the Targèt swarovski-studded designs, there are shirts, jeans, jewelry and, of course, handbags. The Targèt Couture Pave Swarovski Crystals Clutch is probably the flashiest of all their offerings, but the Leather Padlock Handbags are a big draw. Why? It's hard to put a finger on it, but it seems like there is something familiar about the bags. It might be the super-soft leather, available in both camel and white, or the accenting brass hardware. More than likely, it is the padlock detail that accents the magnetic flap closure. It isn't exactly an original idea, but it's cute and hard to beat at only $250.

Chloe Paddington Camera Bag, Handbag of the Day

What is a camera bag if not a handbag with a very specific purpose? This particular one is a Chloe Paddington Camera Bag, a miniature version of the red hot Paddington bag - complete with a tiny padlock. It is made of incredibly soft, distressed tan leather with gold and silver hardware. The long and wide shoulder strap is adjustable. The front zip pocket is a great place to store extra memory cards or batteries for your camera - even film, if you prefer not to go digital. There is no reason that the bag couldn't be used for other things if you don't need to take your camera along. It would be a great way to hold keys and other small things when you don't want to carry a large tote. Price: $1,495.00

Be A Fashionista Handbag Rental

We've written about Bag, Borrow or Steal, a handbag and jewelry service in the U.S. but what about the U.K? They have Be A Fashionista, a service that has three levels of membership: Diva-In-Training, Style Guru or Fashionista. They also offer the Uber Collection which features truly prized bags such as the Chloe Paddington and the iconic Hermes Birkin. Each of the Uber Collection bags has a different supplement cost based on the expense and rarity of the bag. The Louis Vuitton Baby Mink Papillion shown here costs an additional £229 to rent for the month. Memberships start at £29.95 per month but only Fashionista members ( £99.95 per month) have access to the Uber Collection. The popular bag service also recently expanded to Singapore.

Chloe Paddington Padlock Keychain

Megs over at The Purse Blog uncovers the Chloe Crystal Padlock Keychain on sale at Net-a-Porter. As fans of the ultra-hip Chloe Paddington bag know, it's distinguishing feature is an oversized padlock. The Chloe keychain strips the fashion down to its essence. The crystal-encrusted silver padlock has a silver leather panel with the 'Chloé' logo embossed on it and a large key and ring at ends of leather straps. This isn't the first time we've seen Chloe do a variation on the padlock theme but I'm wondering how long before they run out of padlock-themed gimmicks.
