From the LA Times Hot Property:
--A home, shown above, built by the family of Laguna Beach star, Kristin Cavallari has hit the market for $13.95 million in Three Arch Bay, a gated Laguna Beach community. The listing is here.
--Last week, the Real Estalker suggested that Slash may have bought Colleen Maloof's home in the Mulholland Estates area of Beverly Hills, now it is listed as sold. She paid $8 million for the home in 2006 but sold it for $7.3 million.
--Mel B of the Spice Girls sold her Hollywood Hills home for $3.14 million after only seven days on the market at $2,999,999.
--Sitcom writer David Litt has sold his Hollywood Hills house for $1.95 million. He bought in 2007 for $1.1 million.
--Actress Maura Tierney has sold her Hancock Park-area house for $2.175 million to acting couple Tom Lennon and Jenny Robertson.

--Actor D.W. Moffat has listed his Hollywood Hills home for $1.895 million. The listing is here.
--Actor Connor Trinneer has placed his 2,066-square-foot Craftsman-style house in Los Angeles' Bronson Canyon area on the market for $1,089,000. The listing is here.
--U2 guitar player, The Edge owns a large chunk of Malibu land and is planning on building five houses on a very large parcel of close to 300 acres. Neighbors are concerned over Edge's plans to build a private access road onto the property.

-George Hirsch, the founding publisher of New York has sold his former home at 246 East 32nd Street for $2.88 million.
--via the Real Deal, Donald Trump's son Eric paid $540,000 for the 14th-floor apartment next door to the one he already owns at 100 Central Park South which he bought in 2007 for $2 million.--Mortgage exec Steve Schnall and wife Sherri have dropped the price of their townhouse at 2 North Moore Street in Tribeca from $35 million to $33 million. The listing is here.
--The triplex penthouse at 895 Park that belonged to the late fashion mogul and film producer Charles Evans has gone into contract. It first went up for sale for $29.5 million in October 2007 but was most recently listed at $15.5 million.
--The sixth-floor co-op at 960 Park Avenue that belonged to the late Baroness Jacqueline de Gunzburg has gone into contract. It was listed for $10.95 million.
--Ramona Singer from "The Real Housewives of New York" has listed her Southampton home as a summer rental.
--via the NY Post, the townhouse at 42 West 12th Street once owned by Ambrose Kingsland, has sold after more than a year on the market. It was most recently listed with Paula Del Nunzio for $17.95 million.
--Karen and David Fleiss are highly motivated to sell at 1030 Fifth Avenue. They've lowered the price of their 16-room duplex to just $22 million, which is $25.5 million less than what they were seeking back in June. The listing is here.
--Anne Chandler Bass, the daughter of Oak Hill Capital Partners founder Robert Bass and the niece of Sid and Mercedes Bass, has sold her co-op at 956 Fifth Avenue for $6.25 million.
--via the NY Post, Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia and his wife Amber paid $15 million for a six-bedroom home in Alpine, NJ.

Osbourne Sale Brings in Over $800,000

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne made quite a bundle on their ultra deluxe yard sale. Happily, it's all for a good cause. The Osbournes raised $800,000 for the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation at their auction on December 1. The auction, put on by Julien's auctions, included furniture from their Beverly Hills home where they filmed the television show the Osbournes. The couple sold their house and moved on to Hidden Hills.

Some of the scores include Ozzy's coat which went for $3,300, his skull-adorned sneakers for $2,625 and a pair of his wire-rimmed sunglasses for $5,250.The family's custom pool table went for $11,250. AOL Music has a photo gallery of some of the Osbourne offerings.

--CNN anchor Paula Zahn has moved out of the Fifth Avenue co-op apartment she's shared with her soon-to-be-ex husband, Richard Cohen. Zahn is renting a full-floor apartment at the Siena on East 76th Street for $40,000 a month.
--Billy Joel and his bride, Katie Lee, have already moved into Roy Scheider's old Sagaponack oceanfront estate, which he may have bought for $16.5 million.
--Gwyneth Paltrow is annoying her Hamptons neighbors because she has erected a very high cedar wall around her 2.2-acre gated compound along with a high-tech security system.
--The longtime Fifth Avenue apartment of the late Abe Hirschfeld has finally sold for $6 million.

--Producer and writer Michael Weithorn and his wife Lisa have listed their absolutely gorgeous eight-bedroom Malibu home for $19.25 million. Indulge yourself with the beautiful Flash tour of this big slice of fabulous here.
--Hilary Swank has purchased a six-bedroom home in Pacific Palisades for $5.8 million.
--Sharon Stone has put her Beverly Hills home back on the market for $11.5 million.
--Rob Morrow has purchased a very interesting contemporary home in Santa Monica for $4.3 million.
--Pamela Anderson is renting Chateau Ortolan in Malibu.
--A report in The Sun indicated that the Osbournes may have sold their Beverly Hills mansion to Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman.
--Writer/producer Howard Gordon has listed his Studio City home for $1.449 million.
--Stacy Keach has listed his Calabasas home at $2.295 million, it's our estate of the day later today.
--I have no idea who Nino Santucci is but he lives in one strange and wonderful house (well, wonderful to look at anyway, I think it would be rather strange to actually live there). The wacky home on Mulholland, complete with "milk bar" is listed at $4.5 million. Check it out at the listing here.

--The Salvation Army has sold the San Diego-area home of late McDonald's heiress Joan Kroc for about $16 million, down from the initial 2005 asking price of $28 million.
--Jeffrey A. Marcus -- an investor, former cable executive, sports-team co-owner and, for four days, U.S. ambassador to Belgium -- has bought a Palm Beach, Fla., property for $5.85 million.

From the NY Observer's Manhattan Transfers:
--Robert Thorne, the entertainment lawyer who crafted the careers of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen has paid $2.05 million and $1.975 million for two high-floor apartments in the new and very glassy Centria condo on West 48th Street. Each is now available to rent for just over $10,000 per month or to buy for over $2.5 million.
--A one-bedroom co-op at 825 Fifth Avenue has been sold to Harvard professor Martin Feldstein, once President Reagan's chief economics adviser for $1.925 million.
--Jamie Kimm, Annie Leibovitz's chef until last summer, has bought a co-op at London Terrace, the imperial West Chelsea apartment block where Mr. Kimm used to cook for Ms. Leibovitz in her two-unit penthouse. Mr. Kimm and his wife Alison Attenborough, a food stylist, paid $961,500 for their own spread in the building.
--The late Pulitzer Prize–winner Stanley Kunitz's apartment has been sold to Macy's vice chair Janet Grove for $2.6 million.

--Comedienne Carol Leifer has listed a house in L.A.'s Hollywood Hills for $2.05 million. The listing is here.
-- Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips have paid $2.995 million to purchase a Los Feliz home that once was owned by rock 'n' roll pioneer Chuck Berry.
--Josh Radnor of the show "How I Met Your Mother" has purchased a new house is in the Vine Hills area of the Hollywood Hills for above the $1,050,000 list price.
--Former HUD secretary Henry Cisneros has paid $1.56 million for a 2,678-square-foot house in Bel Air.
--Actress Emmanuelle Vaugier has paid $1.395 million for house in the Hollywood Hills.
--Jason Segel of "How I Met Your Mother" has paid $2.24 million for a house on the Sunset Strip and has sold a condo unit in Westwood for $452,000.

The Osbournes Sell Their House

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have finally sold their Beverly Hills mansion. The six-bedroom home was the setting of the popular MTV show "The Osbournes" which chronicled the exploits of the eclectic family. The home, which has been on the market since last year. was originally listed at $11.9 million but sold for $10.8 million.
