With a handle length of 21 ½", this spacious leather tote measures 19"H x 14" W x 5 ½" D. A large zip top opens to suede lining and two interior pockets. With leather-protecting feet and gentle pleating, the bag is available as shown as well as in black. $530.

Hermes Garden Party Tote, Handbag of the Day

This tote caught my eye primarily for the luscious orange color. But color alone can't justify the $1395 price tag, so what else does this bag offer besides a high-end label? The answer is - not much. Made from cotton linen and trimmed in orange leather, it's a simple large tote like any other. I do like the way the top snaps in to adjust the width, but other than that and the detachable 45" shoulder strap, it is rather unremarkable. Pretty color, though!
