Chagrin Falls, Estate of the Day

Today we are in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. The small town is a suburb of Cleveland and its most famous depiction might be on the pages of the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes. Artist Bill Watterson used his hometown as inspiration for the small town life of a boy and his toy tiger.
Our estate of the day is a four-bedroom home that was built in 2006 but reflects the charm of a way of life unchanged by time except perhaps by the array of modern appliances. This home's kitchen includes three dishwashers (one for china) as well as a professional range and a warming oven. The well-maintained home has a grand entrance with a black and white marble floor and a large staircase. Columns frame an elegant living room and the formal dining room has a nice built-in china closet. Off the kitchen there is a cozy family room with a fireplace. The sunroom is adjacent to the family room and looks out into the gardens. The lower level has its own wine cellar, exercise room and a separate suite with a guest kitchen. This home is listed at $2.1 million.
