Maserati Quattroporte by Novitec Tridente

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

As far as four-door sedans are concerned, few are as enthrallingly fast as the Maserati Quattroporte. But those looking for an added edge need look no further than Novitec Tridente. The Dutch tuning firm best known for their custom Ferraris (under the banner Novitec Rosso) has released a series of upgrades for the Quattroporte S and GT S that take the Maserati into ever more rarified fields of performance and exclusivity.

By adding a supercharger, intercooler, new intake manifold, fuel injectors and recalibrated engine management, Novitec has boosted output up to an epic 590 horsepower. That's enough to drop the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint down to 4.6 seconds and the top speed up to 295 km/h (183 mph). An electronically adjustable suspension, 21-inch modular wheels on Pirelli tires, a subtle aero kit and an array of interior options are also on offer, and you can see it all in the gallery of high-resolution images below.

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti by Novitec Rosso

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

At the very top of Ferrari's production range sits the 612 Scaglietti, a four-seat grand tourer that's in dire need of an attitude adjustment. In comes Novitec Rosso with its answer.

The Dutch tuning house is well known for its Ferrari modifications, but has limited the 612 mods to an engine-management upgrade, new wheels and some cosmetic enhancements. The result is a 30-horsepower boost to 560, dropping the 0-60 run down to 3.9 seconds and the top end to 202 miles per hour.

20-inch modular wheels and darkened indicator lights are also part of the package, and buyers can specify any number of interior upgrades as well. Have a closer look in the gallery below.

Ferrari California by Novitec Rosso

Some look at a Ferrari and see the be-all-and-end-all of automotive perfection. Others see room for improvement. For the latter group, there's a variety of aftermarket tuners happy to oblige, and one of them is called Novitec Rosso.

The Dutch tuning garage recently graced us with its own take on the 599 GTB Fiorano, and has now turned its attention to its kid brother, the Ferrari California. Starting with the stock V8 convertible, Novitec has revised the engine management module to boost power up to an even 500hp, fitted a carbon-fiber aerodynamic kit, 22-inch modular wheels with Pirelli tires, an adjustable suspension system and a wide array of interior customization options. Pricing depends entirely on the buyer, but when you're talking about a Ferrari – a convertible one, no less – the sky really is the limit.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia 747HP Edizione by Novitec Rosso

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

With 510 horsepower and a chassis tuned by Michael Schumacher, there are few exotic sportscars out there capable of catching the Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The new 458 Italia stands as an exception, replacing the F430 series next year with an even better package. But before Ferrari sends the outgoing model packing, Holland's Novitec Rosso has got a few more tricks up its sleeve.

Thanks to a pair of superchargers, intercoolers and a revised engine control unit, Novitec has boosted the Scuderia's power up to 747, said to be enough to drive the tuned supercar up to 218 miles per hour. A special two-tone matte paint job, a host of interior modifications and new rolling stock mounted to an upgraded suspenion round out the package. Novitec says they'll only make three of them, and considering the third-of-a-million-dollar asking price for the stock model, this is definotely one of those "if you have to ask" moments. Keep in Tune with the Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

We can imagine the frustration. You a third of a million dollars on a new Ferrari, then you pull up in front of your favorite restaurant and there are three more just like it. So what do you do? Novitec will help you out. The Dutch tuning house has made its reputation on modifying Maranello's finest. And since the 599 GTB Fiorano has been on the market for a few years already, the company's dedicated Ferrari tuning division, Novitec Rosso, has already had a go at the flagship V12 supercar. But not everyone is on the market for a twin-supercharged 800-horsepower monster. So Novitec has now released a more moderate package for the Fiorano.

Novitec's Stage 3 kit for the 599 keeps it simple with a modification to the engine control system and a new exhaust to boost power up by 40 prancing horses, for a total of 660. They've also fitted an adjustable suspension, 21" wheels, a carbon fiber aerodynamic package and offer a full range of options for customizing the interior as well. Prices start at 10,490 Euros, on top of the base car's $302k list price.

Tattoo'd & Tuned: Ferrari F430 Calavera by Unique Sportscars and Novitec Rosso

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Some things are exclusive because they're only available in limited quantities. Others are exclusive because few people actually want them. Under which category the Ferrari F430 Calavera falls is entirely a matter of taste. A joint effort by Unique Sportscars and Novitec Rosso, the Calavera takes the Ferrari supercar into questionable territory by enlisting the services of airbrush artist Knud Tiroch, who decorates the exotic with all manner of tattoo-style decoration, skulls and all. Novitec was brought in to give the Calavera the bite to go with its bark, strapping on not one, but two superchargers to boost power output up to 707 horsepower, driving it up to sixty in three and a half seconds and on to a top speed of 216 miles per hour. A tweaked suspension and aero kit round out the package, while Unique Sportscars has customized the interior as well for that, well...unique feeling. Only eleven examples will be produced, but whether that's a matter of exclusivity or optimism is, after all, a matter of taste.

Novitec Supercharges the Maserati GranTurismo to 600HP

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

If you bought a machine as close to perfection as a Maserati, would you try to improve upon it? We're not sure we would, but if we did, we'd be turning to Novitec. The German tuning house has a long history in modifying Ferraris, and since Maserati is Ferrari's sister company and borrows its engines from them, the Novitec's know-how is a natural fit. In this case, they've taken the GranTurismo S, in all its 435-horsepower glory, and given it even more power and exclusivity thanks to a supercharger and other modifications that bring the total power output up to an even more outstanding 600. Novitec Tridente, as their new Maserati division is called, also fitted 20-inch modular wheels up front and 21-inch rims in the back, which together with the carbon fiber aerodynamics kit gives the GranTurismo an even more menacing look.
