Newfoundland Island For Sale

We
covered a gorgeous tropical island recently. A very
different type of island has hit eBay. A Newfoundland island is
up for sale for $6 million. The ten-acre island known as Greeps Head or Bald Eagles Head includes a 160-year-old
house. The area of Grand Bruit, on the southwest coast of Newfoundland is accessible only by boat or airplane and the
island is connected to the mainland by a 100-foot causeway. The area has no roads or major automobile traffic. The area
has beautiful hiking and the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife. Grand Bruit has a museum and there is an annual
summer festival held in August. After reading The
Shipping News, I think I've been scared off Newfoundland but if you need a remote and chilly hideaway this is the
