Natalia Vodianova to Design Lingerie for Etam

In the past we've written about sexy Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova's ad campaigns for the likes of Versace and Calvin Klein. Now she's turning her hand to designing as well, starting with a lingerie collection for French label Etam. Vodianova, who recently signed a three-year deal to be the brand's global ambassador, will produce a capsule collection each season called Natalia pour Etam. Initial pieces include a silk nightgown inspired by a vintage piece from her personal collection, a gray lace corset, and polka dot bra and pantie sets. "What I realized when designing this is how feminine I am," Vodianova says. "I'm feminine to the bone." We won't argue with that. You can check out some pix and video of Natalia cavorting in Etam lingerie here.

Abramovich's Girlfriend Parties with Supermodels in Moscow

Our friends at Kempt spotted Dasha Zhukova, Russian oligarch / Luxist mascot Roman Abramovich's gorgeous 27-year-old girlfriend, partying with supermodels and movie stars at an A-list art gallery opening in Moscow the other night. Zhukova (right) rubbed elbows with the likes of Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova (left), sexy star of several ad campaigns, at the opening for megabucks art dealer Larry Gagosian in a former chocolate factory. As we reported recently, Abramovich has bankrolled a new Moscow art gallery for Zhukova, which will mount a major Francis Bacon exhibition in 2010. At the Gagosian show, works by the likes of Jeff Koons and Vuitton collaborator Takashi Murakami were on display.

Kate Moss Returns as Face of David Yurman

We have always been of the opinion that jeweler David Yurman's designs don't quite live up to his gorgeous advertising campaigns. It's almost as though his own creative team senses this, as the ads seem designed to downplay the ostentatiousness of most of the jewelry, with its two-tone metals, gauche gemstones and clunky styling.

The pictures by contrast are simple, elegant and stunning: some of the world's most beautiful women shot in classic black-and-white by famed photographer Peter Lindbergh. Kate Moss has appeared more than once, and is back for the glamorous new fall campaign, pictured here. Other subjects have included Daria Werbowy, Naomi Watts, Amber Valletta and Natalia Vodianova. No-one could make the baubles look better than that all-star lineup.

Isabeli and Natalia Heat Up Versace for Fall

Versace has tapped two of modeling's most beautiful faces for its new Fall ad campaign shot by famed photographer Mario Testino. Russian knockout Natalia Vodianova (foreground) and Brazilian stunner Isabeli Fontana star in the ads which feature Versace's eye-popping new line of handbags, clothing and accessories. Fontana is having an especially good season campaign-wise. As we reported last month, she also stars in Roberto Cavalli's theatrical new ads as well those of Valentino. See the gallery for more pix from the campaign.

Vodianova and Portman's Pad, Estate of the Day

It would be easy to hate Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova if only she weren't by all accounts, such a nice person and one who did not have an easy upbringing before the charmed life she currently enjoys. Braden Keil of the NY Post reports that Vodianova and her husband Justin Portman have listed their three-bedroom apartment at 72 Reade Street in New York City. Portman bought the home as a bachelor pad for $2,291,500 in 1999. Now he and his model wife are decamping to London.

The home, which is probably getting cramped given that the couple is expecting their third child, has an indoor reflecting pool, media room, sauna, three separate terraces (northern, southern, and eastern) and an outdoor infinity-edge soaking pool off the master bedroom. The sixth floor penthouse is over 4100 square feet and has direct access through a private key locked elevator. It has all sorts of details that are Zen and quirky like a table with a parasol in the master suite and art sourced from around the world. You have to have a certain cool to make this place work. If you are into cozy this probably isn't your pad. This is a rock star home, the type that Lenny Kravitz or someone else with friends to entertain and babes to impress might easily enjoy. It's easy to suspect that this place was probably a feature in Portman's favor when he was pursuing young Miss Vodianova. It is listed at $11 million. After the jump, buy this and get your own supermodel.
