Things are going uber-vibrant this spring and Nancy Gonzalez is hopping on board with both feet with this Crocodile Long Clutch design. Reminiscent of a pencil case it's obviously very long but it's also quite shallow and measures a grand total of 13" long by 5" tall by 2" deep. Aside from what seems to be Nancy's favorite crocodile leather it has no other features, straps, dangles, or embellishments except a high-gloss finish, a magnetic top fastening, and an equally bright pink suede lining with a skinny little interior pouch pocket. $1,200

Crocodile ruffles are the stuff dreams are made of. This luxurious bag is 15"W X 12"H X 5"D with double handles and a detachable 16" drop shoulder strap all in crocodile, and lined in soft brown suede. Nine out of ten things you own will feel "not good enough" to put in this purse.

That is, unless decadence is your modus operandi, in which case you will feel perfectly comfortable carrying this with any outfit. The brown is versatile and complements jeans beautifully, yet the ruffle makes it dressy enough for many elegant evening affairs. The tendency toward darker color in the creases makes it appropriate to carry even with a black ensemble.

The Nancy Gonzalez Croc Savvy Hobo is a cheerful and striking purse with a subtle modernity everyone will surely be imitating soon.

What really impresses us about this purse is the innovative shape. By adding multi-strap detail to the base of the top handles and inching them toward the center of the bag, a half-egg shaped line is achieved over an artfully ruched, wide boat of a body. The overall effect is very attractive, and we haven't even gotten to the fact that this bordeaux-colored beauty is made of rare, valuable Caiman fuscus crocodile.

The hobo is 7 1/2"H x 14 1/2"W x 4"D, has a magnetic snap closure, and features interior zip and cell phone pockets in a cream lining. Looking into this bag is like peering into the delicious center of a slice of red velvet cake. And now we are hungry.

Oh how I love purple! I don't know what it is but it is at once bold, mysterious, earthy and feminine all in one neat package. So obviously I approve of Nancy Gonzalez's choice of color for this fantastic handbag. The Nancy Gonzalez Python/Crocodile Tote is a sleek and interesting bag in a shade that most of us are missing in our handbag collection: grey.

This blue-grey color is going to be around awhile; not only did we see it last year and this year in clothing, it's been all over the runways for Spring 2010, and it's great it see it in the form of a handbag. Grey was a long-ignored neutral that was strangely revived by our recession -- even among the wealthy.

We can just see this complemented by the deep shades of sequins and velvet this fall and winter, and when things lighten up in 2010 -- this will look great with all the white and khaki! But enough about how much we love the color ...

This mixed python and croc bag is 15"W X 12½"H X 6"D and contains a beautiful and unexpected burnt orange suede lining. At such a large size, it may not surprise you that this has a zippered middle divider and detachable shoulder strep -- it's the perfect work bag.

Nancy Gonzalez knows croc, and the Soft Croc Quilted Satchel is another shining example of her mastery.

This perfect bag alternates croc patterns on five evenly, artfully pleated panels across the front and back. The sides have just the right amount of give to lend the bag this highly aesthetically pleasing shape. Frames are going to be big this season, and this bag's frame is substantial and elegant, and the double straps are long enough to throw easily over your shoulder.

Our love affair with Nancy Gonzalez continues with this striking Zebra Hobo.

Made in Columbia, this bag features a warm tan and black zebra-print haircalf exterior with shiny black Caiman fuscus crocodile accents, double top handles with a magnetic closure, and protective feet on the bottom. The inside has zipper pockets and a cell phone pocket, and at 13"H x 15"W x 4"D, this bag is big enough for day -- and still sexy and dressy enough for night.

What does this go with? Everything. Black compliments black, brown would pick up the golden tones, and white would be a sharp and fabulous contrast. That "Add to Wish List" button on the BG page has never been so enticing.

Feeling citrus-inspired? Summer time always brings out the perky, citrus-side of me causing an infusion of lemons, limes and oranges into as many dishes and drinks as possible. One of our favorite luxury handbag designers, Nancy Gonalez -- just look at this ivory colored, pale yellow suede lined, Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile Cutout Satchel -- is having a very special event!

April 3rd from 2-4 pm EST at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC, handbag lovers will have an opportunity to meet with Nancy Gonzalez and her Senior Vice President Linda Fargo to create a custom "Linda bag" (above). Clients will be able to choose from over 30 colors and finishes and receive design help from Fargo and Gonzalez themselves! The Linda bag comes in three sizes and ranges from $2,950 to $5,000 in price.
