The latest news from the modern yacht geniuses at Wally is the Pilgrim project. The new yacht is a project with Hoek Design and Soto Acebal, a 200-foot (60.80-meter) yacht designed along classic lines but with high-tech additions. The design dates back to 1893 and the plan is to create a re-imagined classic. The new Piglrim will have a a carbon composite hull .The sail handling systems developed by Wally have reduced the crew requirements to eight or nine people. The deck layout has two deckhouses with tinted glass. The deck has a high bulwark and the social cockpit has free standing furniture like the latest Wally designs. There is a lounge, dining area, salon, library and four cabins plus the owner's stateroom.Yacht Forums has more pictures of the interesting project.
