Mirrored Furniture from Horchow

Nothing brightens up a room like a mirror. It distributes light and creates the illusion of more space. In Feng Shui, it is recommended to hang a mirror opposite the door of a room (harmony or vanity, the world may never know).

One way to take even greater advantage of the reflective benefits of mirrors is to incorporate mirrored furniture. Nothing looks cleaner than a perfect mirrored panel, and nothing sparkles day and night with such pristine glamour.

Mulberry Mirrored Bayswater Bag, Handbag of the Day

Back in 2006 we covered the original Bayswater Bag from Mulberry and now we have an updated mirrored version. Flashy and bright, this bag is not for the timid (well, unless you're looking to get seriously bolder) and although it now had gold mirrored leather the bag still comes with all the great features of the original including my favorite: the flap closure with buckle that can be locked with the tiny padlock that comes conveniently hidden in the pouch charm that hangs off the handle (whether you use it or not miniature padlocks are always fun!). They show it here with a fall/winter outfit but I think metallics can be pulled off in any season. $1,595

Bop Mirrored Wall Clock

Modern and fun, the Bob Mirrored Wall Clock is a nice adaptation of the traditional design. It doesn't do anything too crazy, like completely rearranging numbers, but the way that the numbers are either cutout or centered in cutout circles allows the color of the wall to show through, contrasting attractively with the highly polished stainless steel of the clock face. The clock would look great in a room with brightly colored walls, or in an untraditional office, where the decor isn't all serious. Price: $218.
