Baileys Coffee Creamers

Those who enjoy putting a little "Irish" in their coffee have no shortage of liqueurs to choose from: Frengelico, Grand Marnier and Kalhua are long-time favorites, but arguably most popular is Baileys. For those looking, however, for Baileys flavor without the booze, American dairy company HP Hood offers a range of non-alcoholic Baileys Coffee Creamers.

Ahimsa Milk, Milk From Pampered Cows

You've heard of Kobe or wagyu beef, beef from cows which are pampered and massaged, how about milk from cows that have had a peaceful, stress-free life. Ahimsa milk is milk from slaughter free dairies in England. The milk is aimed at Hindus and others who are concerned about the treatment of animals.

The Telegraph reports that cows are milked twice a day in a shed where ancient Sanskrit prayers are played over a loud speaker and cows are massaged as they are milked. The Telegraph says that the milk will cost £3 a liter and will be sold in shops around Harrow, London, where there is a large Hindu community. According to the article, the monks are already in talks major grocers for wider distribution. The Ahimsa group is part of the Lotus Trust, an educational, relief and development agency. Bhaktivedanta Manor was gifted to the Hare Krishnas in 1973 and they have invested in creating a luxury farm producing premium milk.

Ebel Beluga Chocolate Watches

What about Beluga caviar? No, Ebel opts for the sweeter (less salty) Beluga with a new limited edition line of women's watches called the Beluga Chocolate. Coming in three colors the watches feature dials that resemble bricks of chocolate (are the watches also scented?) The names of the specific models? You guessed it "Dark (Black) Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, and White Chocolate."

The Beluga is actually an older watch line name that is being reintroduced after its debut in 1985. The watches are 37.5mm wide in 18k white gold that are decorated with 68 precious stones around the bezel and lugs. Based on the watches, the stones are either black, brown, or white diamonds (about 1.08 carats per watch).

The luxury watches contain Swiss ETA quartz movements, have AR coated sapphire crystals, and come with matching satin straps. Ebel even worked with chocolate maker Max Chocolatier to create special Beluga chocolates in honor of the collection. Not sure how man pieces will be in this limited edition or the price. Look for them soon.

Seattle's Best Cheeses Are Ready to Take on the World

cheese Do you really, really, really love cheese? Seattle is home to some surprisingly great locally made cheeses, particularly the famously sharp Northwest cheddars.

Beecher's Handmade Cheeses

Beecher's is as famous for their hand-crafted cheeses as they are for the space they are made in. Located in the famous Pike Place Market near the Seattle waterfront, Beecher's makes all their cheeses in a glassed-in room visible from the street, allowing you to watch the cheese being made in front of your eyes. Beecher's Aged Flagship Cheddar was the 2009 American Cheese Society's 1st place for mature cheddars, and their famous mac 'n cheese is notably indulgent and a must-have.

WSU Creamery's Cougar Cheese

While not strictly from Seattle, Washington State's famous Cougar Cheese is likely to please your tastebuds just as much as it will irritate nearby Husky fans. Ignore the intercollegiate rivalry and pick some up from the Cougar Connections store in the Westlake Mall in downtown Seattle. Cougar Gold is their flagship cheese, a white cheddar that gets deliciously crumbly and sharper with age.

The Perfect Flat

True confession: I never wear high-heels. Why? Well, as a very tall woman who is dating a not-so-tall man, I have a hard time justifying, both to myself and to my fellow, those few extra inches of altitude. While I recognize that certain shoes are more flattering for your legs, the fact still remains: I hate heels.

Because I hate heels, I've been on a life-long quest for a closet full of perfect flats. In my experience, finding great flats in black is never much of a challenge. However, finding a pair of decent-looking neutral-colored flats? Well, that's like trying to find virtue in the Red Light District of Amsterdam. Good luck with that one, ladies.

But then I found Pedro Garcia's nude satin round-toed flat sold on-line at milk. While the shape is so Audrey Hepburn a la Roman Holiday, the details are anything but retro-quaint. With raw edges and a silver chain across the toes, these shoes offer everything a modern girl could want from a shoe that is not a heel. And at the risk of sounding completely hysterical, I must say, I hope that when I die, I am buried in these shoes.

It's a tall girl's dying wish...

Mukka Express

With one of the most attractive designs of any coffee maker, the Mukka Express is very unique in performance as well. It won the Best Design Category at the 2006 housewares show last month. Mukka seems to be a play on the words "moo" and "coffee" or "cafe," indicating that this tool makes cappuccinos - but it makes them on the stove-top. Each Mukka can make two mugs of cappuccino, complete with foamy milk, as the special pressure valve is designed to steam it with little more than the touch of a button. Did we mention that it also comes in a black-and-white cow print? There is an instructional video available on the Bialetti  website that details the performance of the Mukka Express, complete with product demonstration. Price: $89.
