Sennheiser Swarovski-Encrusted Microphones

A Swarovski-encrusted microphone might be a little juvenile (any real rocker wouldn't be caught dead with one of these I'm sure, except maybe Beyoncé) but that doesn't mean it can't be fun, gimmcky, and a great gift for a musically-inclined kid. These mics are from Sennheiser and are available in one color, two color, and multi-color customizable versions -- they even accept requests for crystallizing microphone stands and other accessories.

So what will it be, a heart? A skull? A crazy paisley pattern? The sky's the limit as long as you have $799-$1000 to spend (which doesn't include the actual microphone).

braxtonToni Braxton's new Las Vegas show will get an extra bit of glitz. The Giantto Group of Los Angeles has announced that the singer will use their one-of-a-kind diamond microphone during the "Toni Braxton: Revealed" show at the Las Vegas Flamingo Hotel. The microphone is worth $1 million and is made of white gold and covered in 650 carats of diamonds. Braxton will also give away a Giantto watch to one audience member during each of her shows. Musicians and other celebrities who pretend to be musicians love bling, no question about it. Crystal Roc Instruments has Swarovski-encrusted microphones, guitars, drum kits and more, all of which are perfect for the pop diva who needs something to draw attention away from the sound of her voice. The line was developed by music producer Morten Schjolin, whose clients include LeeAnn Rhymes and J Lo, and will be available by the end of the year. Pictured here is the Retro Mike, the signature piece of the line, which is expected to retail for around $3,800(£2,000).
