1800 Tequila Shows Up In Twista Video, Soon To Be At Knicks Games

Last time we checked out 1800 Tequila, Michael Imperioli was promoting the brand, projecting an air of urbane cool. Imperioli still represents the brand but the video above shows that the tequila gets around, making an appearance in Twista's video for The Heat, featuring Raekwon.The super-premium tequila is pure, 100% blue agave tequila grown on family-owned ranches and bottled in Jalisco, Mexico. Each bottle of 1800® Tequila is double-distilled and matured in French and American oak barrels and bottled with a stopper that doubles as a shot glass.

The brand also just announced a marketing agreement with the New York Knicks (following fast on the heels of Stoli's deal with the Nets). The NY Times reports that the deal includes signs at courtside and on the scoreboard as well as a number of promotional activities.

--Sacha Baron Cohen has listed his Los Angeles home for $2.9 million. It is also listed for lease for $11,995. The listing is here. Cohen and his wife, Isla Fisher, recently bought a new lavish seven-bedroom home.

From the NY Post:
--Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos may be quietly shopping their duplex penthouse at 76 Crosby St. They bought the 9,865-square-foot unit for $9.5 million in 2005 but it could bring as much as $15 million to $20 million now.
--Stephen Haymes, whose family real estate business owns 5 Penn Plaza, has just sold "The Point," an home on 2.2 acres in Westhampton for $13 million, far less than its original $20 million asking price. The buyer is hedge-funder Paul Levy.
--Nick Rizzo Jr., managing director of Loeb Partners Realty, just bought a $3.5 million, new-construction home in Sagaponack.
--Lady Gaga's latest apartment hunting took her to a four-bedroom penthouse at SoHo Mews that is listed for $9.975 million. This is the same property that Katy Perry and Russell Brand looked at in June.
--Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted checking out the $24.5 million, 11,875-square-foot townhouse at 870 Park Ave as well as the $20 million former Woolworth mansion at 2 E. 80th St.

--Meg Ryan's Bel Air home is now listed for rent for $40,000 a month. The home hit the market last year for $14.2 million. She bought the six-bedroom home for $8.995 million in 2000.

--Phil McGraw, a.k.a. Dr. Phil, has bought an estate in Beverly Hills for $29.5 million.His Beverly Hills home is listed for $16.5 million.

--A ranch owned by the family of Malcolm Forbes, the late chairman and editor in chief of Forbes magazine, has hit the market in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for $12 million.
--Real-estate investor Michele Hughes will auction off a seven-acre oceanfront estate on Kauai's Anini Beach next month. Her 40-acre unlisted beachfront property in Kauai's Kilauea is available for $40 million.

--NBA free agent Carlos Boozer and his wife, Cece, have sold their Coconut Grove, Florida estate for $5.5 million.
--Actor Craig Sheffer has listed his home on Malibou Lake in the Agoura Hills area at $1.699 million. The home was formerly owned by actress Elizabeth Montgomery and has a Moroccan-style conversational area that centers on a fireplace (shown above).
--The former Santa Monica beach house of silent film star Douglas Fairbanks Sr. has sold for $6,862,000.
--Legendary Los Angeles Kings goalie Rogie Vachon has listed his Venice-area home for $1.488 million. The listing is with his daughter-in-law, Renee Vachon of Nourmand & Associates.

--"Sopranos" star Michael Imperioli has put his four-story TriBeCa townhouse on the market for $6.995 million. The listing for the striking red and gold home is with Raphael DeNiro.
--Designer Elie Tahari and his wife, Rory, have separated and found an unnamed buyer for their 141 Prince St. triplex. The sale closed at $27.5 million, more than the unofficial $22 million asking price.
--Alec Baldwin is still apartment hunting ad was most recently spotted at 225 Lafayette St. in Nolita.
--DJ and record producer Danny Tenaglia has a signed contract to sell his condo at the Arris Lofts building in Long Island City for $1.24 million.

--A bayfront mansion in Newport Beach, California listed at $38 million has sold for $27 million.

--William J. Bratton, who has headed the police forces of New York City, Boston and Los Angeles, has purchased a home in Hampton Bays. He and his wife, cable TV newscaster Rikki Jo Klieman, recently left Los Angeles. They paid $880,000 for the house in early June.
--A six-bedroom waterfront home in the Hamptons is being offered with a cherry red 1966 Ford Cobra replica said to be worth $50,000 to $60,000. The home is listed for $5.499 million with Enzo Morabito.

Michael Imperoli's New Commercials For 1800 Tequila

I don't find myself linking to a lot of tequila commercials but the new spots that former Sopranos star Michael Imperioli has shot for 1800 Silver Tequila are pretty slick. My favorite is the one where he flips over the bottle showing how the top can be used to pour a perfect shot of the super premium tequila. The ads take firm aim at Patrón, one spot shows Imperioli knocking a bottle of Patrón off a table. The ads will air on cable channels including ESPN and Comedy Central. Imperioli also strikes a commanding pose on the 1800 Tequila website.
