While working in a New York City nightclub, artist Wendy Stevens saw the need for durable handbags that were just large enough to hold the necessities of a night on the town. Inspired by the city's subways, telephone booths and elevators, she began designing bags made from sheet metal. The results are modern and sleek bags that can not only withstand a night on the town, but stand out for their beauty. My favorite is the La Camisa bag.
