Even though it's quite a small bag, the details on the Party Girl Clutch, from the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection, deserve a closeup. The bag is made of soft velvet and comes in either burgundy or brown. A coordinating velvet ribbon is laced around the top edge of the bag, looping through a series of logo-embossed golden tabs before tying into small, neat bows at either end. It measures just 4"H x 10"H x 1 1/2"D and has a logo printed cotton lining. Price: $328.

The Whipcord Wool Coat from Marc by Marc Jacobs is a great mid-weight coat for guys this season. It is 100% wool and has an urban/military feel to it, due to clean lines and a slim fit, which are accented with four button-flap pockets and buttoned epaulettes. Inside, the jacket is partially lined in cotton and has two additional flat pockets. The only potential drawback is that it seems to look better as part of a layered look, as opposed to on its own. Price: $498.

This Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag is huge and were it not for the overly-large bag trend that started on the runways earlier this year, it might be too large to actually qualify as a handbag. The Slouchy Patent Surely Shopper measures 17" x 5" x 20", which doesn't sound that big until you realized that you could easily fit five laptops into the bag. We don't recommend that, of course, because the patent leather shopped is lined with fabric, and is not nearly padded enough to protect computers, though the comparison can give a good idea of the size. The bag is accented with 3/4" banding at the top and silver hardware, including reinforced double shoulder straps and a decorative buckle on the front. Price: $478.

This clutch is Marc by Marc Jacobs and is just about as summery as a clutch can get. Its bright yellow geometric sunbursts almost make it seem as though you are carrying around a piece of sunshine. The clutch has a flap closure that is secured with two logo-bearing snaps and is made of ultra-soft leather with a twill lining. There is a gusseted interior with six credit card slots, a billfold and zipped pocket, in addition to a flat pocket under the flap and one on the back of the clutch. It is also available in a sliver metallic, which has a red and white sunburst lining. Price: $168.
