The Ultimate Minimalist Desk

I'd totally call it
Heckler Design calls it "The Last Desk You'll Ever Own."

This minimalist desk, the OneLessDesk, is simple, chic, and clearly designed with Mac in mind.

It looks so beautiful, but could you really run your life with no hard copies of anything? Maybe it should be called OneLessDesk-OneMoreNearbyFileCabinet.

It comes in white or silver, and when you nestle the lower part in? It's about one foot deep. Just a foot! That's probably less space than your side table!

And, there's more that you don't see. The top shelf there is hollow, so there's a place for any usb and wifi ports you may need. Very smart design, Heckler. We approve.

MAC's Colorful New Collection

Makeup collectors will be swooning over the latest line from MAC. MAC has enlisted designer Manish Arora on a line with a palette brighter than Bollywood. The new Indian-inspired line includes lipglasses, lipsticks, blush and a colorful eye shadow set in a jeweled case. It will be available from October 2008 at Harrods.

Oooms Wooden Memory Sticks

Some things, cool or creative as they may be, just strike me as hilarious. And these Wooden Memory Sticks by Oooms had me laughing out loud when I first saw them. Maybe it's because they're so life-like that it brought to mind visions of shoving a stick into my computer and expecting it to store my data for me. And they look so realistic because they are real -- they're handpicked branches from the woods that are professionally handcrafted into USB storage discs.

Available in 256 mb, 512 mb, 1 Gb, and 2 Gb memory sizes and measuring about 2cm x 2cm x 10cm, they cost between 45 and 80 euros each. All laughter aside, it's a really neat idea.

iGo Desk

Most people try to coordinate their furniture, then try to figure out the best way to incorporate accessories into the picture. The size and usability of a TV or computer might be taken into account beforehand, but few would start with a computer and work out. If you happen to be in this minority and own a Mac, the iGo desk is perfect for you. It is designed not only to integrate with the Mac, but to complement its appearance. It is completely ergonomic and comes in both sitting and standing models. Price: $333-$500.

MAC Bridal Collection

MAC has just introduced their Bridal collection. While they do offer suggestions for individual looks, the easiest way to go is with the full Bridal Trousseau. Packed in this Carry-All tote, the collection includes just about all the products and colors that you could need to make your wedding day perfect and your honeymoon memorable. It's the perfect set if you like to do your own makeup and, not only is it less expensive than going to an upscale salon, but you can use it again and again. Eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes and liners tend to be heavily weighted towards pick hues and those with subtle shimmer, making them idea for catching the light and having a "blushing bride" look her best. Along with the makeup, there is a set of brushes designed to result in the most professional application possible. Price: $514.

iDiamonds for iPods

Looking for a way to add some bling to the signature ear buds that came with your iPod? An Italian company called Mac@Work has luxury iPod buds that are covered in white gold and adorned with diamonds. There are four designs available to choose from, including hearts, stars, crescents and lightening bolts. Prices for the diamond models start at 660€, but the hearts are a bit more. The company also has buds in the same designs, but made with pink sapphires instead of diamonds. The pink would probably be a better choice if you already have, say, a pink iPod case. The sapphire versions are 564€ each.

There has been a lot of comments regarding the battery life of the MacBook which doesn't seem to be listed on Apple's website.
