Cargo GlossyGreetings Holiday Cards

Sephora is carrying an exclusive set of holiday cards from Cargo this year. The GlossyGreetings are cards that have a small button of lip gloss built right into them, which makes them a little bit more fun to give and receive than an ordinary card, not to mention that they can really improve the presentation of a gift card or cash because it will look like you put a little more thought into it. You can also feel good about sending them because 100% of the proceeds are donated to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Price: $20 for 5 cards.

YSL Makeup Bracelet

We've seen a lot of wearable makeup recently which makes perfect sense given that no one likes to be encumbered with a heavy purse while wearing a cute party dress. Like the Dior charm, the YSL bracelet is an adorable way to keep your makeup with you for touchups without having to rely on a purse. The Yves Saint Laurent bracelet can be worn on the wrist or attached to a belt. The golden case holds a lipstick, gloss and eyeshadow. it sells for $55.

Gloss Over It

Growing up, I ate a lot of Popsicles during the summertime. Cherry Popsicles were my favorite, and they were always the first to disappear from the freezer. It wasn't that I particularly relished the cough-syrup taste. I ate cherry Popsicles because I was fond on the color they left behind on my lips. Now that I am older, and less inclined to devour frozen desserts on sticks, I've had to accept that there is no cherry-Popsicle-stain substitute. Apparently, the Popsicle red isn't a color that sophisticated cosmetic companies create for discriminating customers.

But I have to think that Fresh was channeling my beloved cherry Popsicle when they created Gloss Absolute in Desire. Enriched with antioxidant pomegranate extract, restorative Shea butter, hydrating jojoba oil and skin soothing vitamin E, Gloss Absolute gives you the flushed summery look of Popsicle lips but without the high-fructose corn syrup part. Price: $24.

You've Got Jolie Lips

Filed under: Celebrity Shopping, Cosmetics and Fragrance

Face it, ladies: whether you're Team Aniston or Team Jolie, we all covet Angelina Jolie's lips.

To get them, you've got a few options. You could go the collagen route, but that comes with the risk of accidentally winding up with Courtney Love's kisser, which is a risk that I dare say I'm not willing to take. And then, blessedly, there's the non-surgical route, for which there is no better balm than Lip Venom, by DuWop. It's the original, and it's still the best.  Infused with a potent cocktail of cinnamon, wintergreen and ginger, the clear gloss comes in a sassy little vial.

Lip Venom encourages blood-flow into your lips. The result is a slight plumping and a gorgeous flushing (think the color of your lips after eating a cherry popsicle). And even if it doesn't make me look exactly like the lovely La Jolie, Lip Venom makes my pout look healthy and youthful -- which is a lot more than we can say for poor Courtney Love.

The best part? At $16 bucks a pop, it's also more affordable than an injection.

Don't you just love chemistry?
