New Must-Have For Celebs?

If you're going to be buying a Christmas present for a celebrity friend this year, you might want to take a look at what Lindsay Lohan just bought herself. TMZ reports that she picked up a pair of diamond-encrusted gold handcuffs at Fred Segal in Beverly Hills for $820. She's wearing them around a long gold chain, so it is anyone's guess as to whether she feels its more of a fashion statement to wear them that way or whether she's just worried about not having them on hand when she needs them. Traditionalists - and cops - will want to stick with the standard silver cuffs, but you can't deny that gold brings a certain amount of luxury to a decidedly un-luxe object.

Lindsay Snags Miu Miu Contract

After Lindsay Lohan tried and tried to get herself a modeling contract with a major fashion house earlier this year, starting with Louis Vuitton and then Versace. It didn't quite work out at the time, but Lindsay has finally gotten lucky. She was just signed to be the new face of Miu Miu for their spring 2007 ad campaign. In the past, the fashion house has used Kim Basinger, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Drew Barrymore and Chloë Sevigny, as well as several Chinese actresses and Japanese model Lina Ohta. Whether this will be a one-off for the starlet, or will lead to more contracts, remains to be seen.

Lindsay Lohan Selling In Hollywood

It seems to be a trend among the young popstar set, buy an apartment, never move in and then sell. We saw it with Britney Spears, now according to People, Lindsay Lohan becomes the latest looking for a quick sale. She bought into the Sierra Towers in West Hollywood around a year ago for $1.9 million. Now she has put her three-bedroom condo on the market for $2.85 million. It doesn't look like Lohan is leaving Hollywood anytime soon, she just prefers to bunk at the nearby Chateau Marmont.

A Luxury Tattoo Parlor for Celebs?

The 20-year-old actress Lindsay Lohan thinks that the next hot celebrity trend is going to be tattoos -- as if plenty of celebrities don't have tattoos as it is -- and that they do not want to go to any old tattoo parlor to get theirs done. She is planning on opening a "classy, boutique-style" parlor of her own in Hollywood. Lohan's place will have a glass front, like a fashion shop, and will feature many of her own designs.

She also wants the shop and her designs to be a foundation for her own brand in the future.

Lohan Sees Hypnotist for Shopping Problem - Maybe

Lindsay Lohan has admitted to having a shopping problem and has either sought professional help or not (side note: Either way, by no means should a hypnotist be refereed to as "help." Perhaps "gimmick" or even "new age fluff.") Lohan's rep denies the star is seeing a hypnotist, but does admit to Lindsay "loving clothes." The teenager has spent over $1,000,000 in the past year on clothing and accessories, and has so much crap she can't wear it all. Sounds like of all the problems Lohan is reported of having, a shopping "addiction" may be the least of her worries.

Lindsay's $1M Hotel Bill

How do you rack up a $1 million dollar hotel bill? It's not easy, even if you're staying at the $37,000 per night Hotel Martinez in Cannes or in the $25,000 per night Bridge Suite at the Atlantis. Lindsay Lohan managed to pull off this rather impressive feat while staying at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. Apparently, the 19-year old actress "tries to keep [a] bungalow reserved on the off chance she'll pop into LA." The bungalows at the Chateau start at $1700 per night. Lohan spent a large portion of that money on things like room service - including $550 per bottle Cristal - and using the $700 per day personal chauffer service the hotel offers.

Will Lindsay Lohan Be The Next Face of Versace?

Lindsay Lohan may not be the latest Louis Vuitton girl but could she be the next face of Versace? Fashion Week Daily reports that Lohan has said that she is in talks to be the face of Versace for the fall season. According to Versace, nothing has been made official yet. It would be a sharp turn for Versace, their recent ad campaigns have featured the older and fabulous including Madonna, Demi Moore and Halle Berry and Lohan's fans wouldn't seem to be the standard Versace demographic.

A while ago we looked at the rumor that Lindsay Lohan would follow in the footsteps of Uma Thurman, Jennifer Lopez and Gisele Bundchen and pose with a Louis Vuitton bag but alas it is not to be. Instead, assaultive and glamorous model Naomi Campbell will be the next face of Louis. Marc Jacobs wanted Lohan on the campaign but the powers that be at LVMH thought the freckled teen was "too American" for their global brand.

Will Lindsay Be A Louis Girl?

Lindsay Lohan could be the next celebrity to pose with a bag for Louis Vuitton. Uma Thurman, Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson have all appeared in the ads for the popular luxury accessories brand. Recent ads featured a model, Gisele Bundchen but they are looking to Lohan to pose for ads for the autumn/winter 2006-7 which designer Marc Jacobs says is "very young" and "cartoony". Lohan has already done bag-posing duty for Dooney & Bourke.
