The lovely and talented Lena Horne passed away last May at the age of 92. Now items belonging to the singer and actress are being sold off at Doyle New York on February 23. Horne made a name for herself in Hollywood but she was a New Yorker at heart, she was born in Brooklyn and had a home on Manhattan's Upper East Side.Horne was a passionate collector with refined taste, The Lena Horne collection comprises approximately 200 lots of vintage costume jewelry, accessories, gowns, memorabilia, decorations, silver, furniture, books and fine art.
