It is not your imagination - this bag is short. Measuring only 5 inches tall, what it lacks in height it makes up for in style. The over-sized gold-tone metal logo emblem adds a lot of punch, with two smaller versions attached to the two-way top zippers. The body of the leather bag is softly pleated and gathered on each end. Cotton lines the interior, which features zip, wall and cell phone pockets. At 17 inches long and 6 inches deep, it is a nice size for tucking snugly under the arm. $345.

I am getting pretty obsessive with red accessories. First the Orciani Red Waist Belt and now this Leather Clutch by Mike & Chris. Isn't it gorgeous? Lightly accented with brass hardware, it features a snap and top zip closure. Although not a small clutch, it surprisingly features multiple pockets for easy and efficient storing of your personal items. The rectangular clutch has an interior zip pocket, two interior pouch pockets and three exterior pockets. Price: $297. Erva Leather Double Clutch, Handbag of the Day

It's a frame purse on one side and a fold over clutch on the other. But either way you look at it, it's very shiny and bright and I generally don't go for shiny and bright. However, I do like the soft shape and the wooden clasp on the frame. If you look closely, the metallic leather is actually two-toned - silver and bronze. Add to that the brass hardware and you've got a lot of metal going on. The interior is pretty - a white floral print on a silver-gray fabric. $515.
