I've always been drawn to rustic colored handbags. Especially chocolate brown and burnt orange. Brown is a versatile color that complements many outfits, while burnt orange injects an understated pop of color. It's no wonder the Fendi Savana Mini Baguette ($935) caught my attention. Although described as being brown, the Savana Mini has burnt orange undertones making for a unique hue. This lady-like purse is fashioned in a shimmery grained leather with a gold toned chain link shoulder strap that really sets it off. The holiday season must have some sort of unconscious hold on me because I can't get enough of red shoes. Mind you, I don't even own a single pair of red shoes. So in the spirit of the holiday season, let's embrace a little unexpected color to our shoes.

Halston's cherry red suede Astor Boots ($388) are vampy and in-your-face bold. They have a slouched shaft with a matching red leather self-tie and rounded toe for a flirty and casual effect. Pair with slim fitting jeans tucked in for maximum effect and a slouchy wool sweater for a touch of casualness. Heel measurements: 4 1/2".

There is a whole lot of sexy coming from Christian Louboutin's Zermadame Ankle Boots ($701). And it's the kind of sexy that can be tamed with "an ode to the 70s conservative" outfit (think Chloe Fall 2010 line - beige wide leg trousers with a loose fitting blouse) and still be worn into the office. Or completely unleash a vampy side by pairing with skinny cords, a body hugging dress or even a pair of fall/winter shorts and decorative tights.

Take the blissful days of summer and the picturesque scenes of nature with you wherever you go with Anthropologie's Sweet Sentinel Handbag ($158). Versace Patent & Suede Boots

Versace is all about sex appeal. Their clothes are created in such a way that they wrap around a woman's body and enhance everything. It's difficult not to notice a woman wearing a Versace vixen dress. And the same can be said of their shoes.

Take a gander at Versace's High Heeled Boots ($1088). Styled in suede, navy patent leather straps run across the vamp and toe box with golden studs and grommets that nicely break up a sea of purplish blue. There's slight ruching at the top making for a subtle accent if worn with jeans or skinny cords tucked in. Additionally, Versace's High Heeled Boots have an almond shaped toe, which always seem to make your feet look smaller - if that's a concern. My favorite accent is the hint of vixen red around the dark wooden cone shaped heel. These sexy boots would make for a bold alternative to your basic black and brown fall boots.

Tofinou 12 Sailing Yacht by Philippe Starck & Goyard

Don't have $300 million to commission an eye-popping megayacht from freak of nature Philippe Starck? You don't need to be a Russian billionaire to afford his newest ocean-going feat of high design, the 39-ft. Tofinou 12 sailing yacht (above) from France's Latitude 46 boatyard. Starck employed precious woods, leather, steel and bespoke monogrammed canvas storage pouches from the famed house of Goyard to decorate the teak, mahogany, carbon fiber and Kevlar in the boat's construction. Due to be unveiled at next month's Paris Boat Show, the four-berth weekender features twin carbon wheels which Starck has wrapped in luxe leather. A stainless steel-framed rosewood companionway gives onto a saloon decked out in floor to ceiling leather, with wide curved seating, oversized cushions, a varnished painted oval table and mirror polished stainless steel mast support. "A Tofinou doesn't exist," Starck states. "It's just a dream, an evocation, a breeze, a sigh of happiness. So little materiality, so elegant. The perfect quality and timelessness of Tofinou born within the natural intelligence of the relationship between the sea and man."

Azumi and David Leather Shoes Pouch, Handbag of the Day

As a designer, it can be difficult to decide on which creative path to pursue. It appears that the designers behind Azumi and David saw the fork in the creative road and proceeded straight - doing exactly what they felt like doing with no regard to trends.

Their Leather Shoes Pouch ($411) encompasses the styling of a shoe and has merged that with an oversized Chanel inspired quilted clutch. Aside from a heel sticking out at the base, the clutch itself is beautifully simple and elegant. It's made with soft leather, has a roomy interior, a fold over closure and complementing minimal hardware. I suppose one benefit of having a heel as part of your clutch is that it will stand on its own.

Charlott Vasberg Multi Pocket Bag, Handbag of the Day

There's an explosion of haphazardly placed pockets on the Multi Pocket Bag by Charlott Vasberg ($654). When I first came across Vasberg's shoulder bag, it was this unexpected accent which immediately caught my attention.

There are three zippered or snap closure exterior pockets that make it easy for you to grab your smaller essentials while the interior has a large base allowing for a multitude of items to fit comfortably without adding bulkiness. Additionally, there is an adjustable shoulder strap, allowing you to you wear across the body or at your shoulder. Styled in a dark rich chocolate brown napa leather, Vasberg's Multi Pocket Bag would make a versatile and unique fall accessory. Measurements: 14"W x 9"H x 4"D.
