Ralph Lauren Scuderia Bag Collection

Fashion and sportscars go together like yachts and Monte Carlo, but even in such elevated fields, few bridge the narrow gap as stylishly and enthusiastically as Ralph Lauren. His renowned automobile collection includes such multi-million-dollar rarities as the 2005 McLaren F1 GTR LM, 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic and 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK, to name just a few. But his real love is Ferraris, which include some of his most prized posessions: a pair of original Ferrari 250 Testa Rossas (a similar example of which recently set the world auction record at $12 million) and a 250 GTO (which would probably sell for even more if an owner was ever willing to part with one). We guess he loves Ferrari so much, he decided it was about time he gave something back, in his own way. And this is it: the Scuderia bag collection.

Named after Ferrari's famous racing division, the Scuderia bag collection includes duffles, totes, wallets and more, all made from butter-soft perforated black calfskin with contrasting racing stripes. Black and yellow were Lauren's intriguing colors of choice, instead of the more obvious red and tan, and they're all available at select retailers, Ralph Lauren stores and directly from the online shop...for a price. The Scuderia Tote pictured above goes for a princely $1295.

The bed has a leather-upholstered base, with headboard and footboard, and is framed in a brushed aluminum cube, a modern take on a classic four-poster. It also comes with a price tag of $44,995. It would go well in a very contemporary, masculine room, but if light and airy is your style, it's probably better to look at other bedding options.

I must admit that the intriguing thing about the Ralph Lauren Bikini Bag is its price. The tiny bag, measuring at only 5.5 x 4.25 x 1.75-inches, is based on a design for a British hunting cartridge bag. It is made of extremely soft, luxurious baranil calfskin, features custom Italian hardware and is available in both black and brown. It looks like it's about the right size and shape for holding a digital camera, though it is also big enough to hold a lipstick and a cell phone. You might be able to squeeze in your keys, but leave your wallet at home. The price? This little bag is $995.

Ralph Lauren Outfits Wimbledon

Ralph Lauren is the first official outfitter of Wimbledon, with a five year contract to design the outfits for all the on-court umpires, judges, ball boys and girls. The uniforms will certainly be more stylish than anything previously seen on the courts. The officials will wear navy blazers with cream piping and cream pants or skirts. The ball boys and girls outfit consists of a navy polo with navy shorts or skort and an optional navy warm-up suit. All of the clothing will feature a newly designed Ralph Lauren/Wimbledon crest.
