Christopher Guy Expands Into Harrods, Remodels in Las Vegas
Filed under: Decor

Christopher Guy not long ago made the move to Beverly Hills, but more recent expansion plans have the British designer of fabulous furnishings enlarging his footprint in London. The 2,000-square-foot space area inside the Chelsea location will showcase the Christopher Guy Harrods Collection, hand-carved and hand-finished pieces influenced by Alice in Wonderland. Among the oversized chairs and ornate mirrors of the kind that have graced 'rooms' in Casino Royale and The Devil Wears Prada will also be examples of masculine- and feminine-themed lobbies and lavish dining rooms.
On this side of the Atlantic pond, Guy has been preparing his Las Vegas showroom at the Robert Allen | Beacon Hill space for a debut during the Las Vegas Market next month. Three windows displays will surround the 3,000-sq-ft space, and to enhance the connection many of the pieces on display will be upholstered with Robert Allen's trademark fabrics. If you're headed there, you'll find him in Building C at the World Market Center, August 2-6.
