Leather-Lined Wooden Cases for Macbook

It can be hard to find a laptop case you really love because even though there are an infinite supply of different fabrics, patterns, shapes, and sizes out there somehow many of them seem almost the same. But not this one. This laptop case by Rainer Spehl is more like a mini, portable cabinet than a bag or a sleeve. Made of wood, lined in leather, and featuring a hinged top with magnetic closure the design comes in three sizes that are made to fit the 13", 15", and 17" Macbook Pro. The only thing missing (in my opinion) is a handle for carrying -- it looks a little too slick for me and without one I can totally see myself dropping it, Macbook and all, onto the unforgiving pavement. €160 - €350

They are padded and made to fit a variety of computers, as even though they were originally intended to accommodate only iBooks, the products can sized to fit other notebook computers as well. You can select the dominant color, but as the fabrics vary, you can either work with the designer to pin down a personalized look or simply leave it up to her good judgment.
