Four years ago, Hodgdon Yachts launched Scheherazade, 154-foot, 7-inch ketch yacht. At the time in a local newspaper, Hodgdon Yacht spokesman Ted Smith, was quoted as saying: "the average ownership over 80 feet is three years," Smith said. "Our client is not like that." Oh how quickly they change their minds. Scheherazade is now up for sale. The yacht, which accommodates six or seven guests was designed by Bruce King with an interior by Andrew Winch Designs. Details such as hundreds of wood hand carvings throughout the boat set this beauty 500 hand carvings throughout the ship set this particular yacht apart.
