New Miami Hotel Includes Luxury Sports Complex

The new JW Marriott Marquis Miami set to open in October is more than just a hotel, it's a a hotel plus a 50,000-square-foot sports, lifestyle and entertainment complex. The two-story facility will have a10,000-square-foot NBA approved basketball arena, full-size tennis court, the Jim McLean Golf School, Rik Rak Spa & Salon, virtual bowling alley, Met 2 Fitness and more.

"The multiplex entertainment facility spans the hotel's 19th and 20th floors, and was created as part of our mission to cater to the individual preferences of each guest," said Florencia Tabeni, the hotel's General Manager. The 19th floor also is home to a high-tech 3D media room and the pool deck with a heated stainless steel pool and whirlpool. The 20th floor is where you find the fitness center, full-service spa and beauty salon.

There's also a hotel within the hotel. Those wanting more of a boutique experience can visit the exclusive, 44-room Hotel Beaux Arts Miami, an art-centered retreat located directly above the JW Marriot Marquis Miami. The JW Marriott Marquis Miami is a 41-floor hotel and will also be home to Miami's first DB Bistro Moderne, a French/American restaurant by acclaimed chef-restaurateur Daniel Boulud.
