A new 36,000-square-foot mansion has been listed in Beverly Hills at $68.5 million. It was built by C. Frederick Wehba, founder of the international real estate investment firm BentleyForbes. --Grammy-winning musician Ziggy Marley has purchased a Los Angeles home in the Beverly Center area for more than $700,000.
--Musician and actor Ahmet Zappa has listed his Hollywood Hills contemporary for $1.165 million. The listing is here.
--Country music superstars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have finally sold their Beverly Hills Post Office-area home for $9.5 million. We first checked out this home in 2008 when it was listed for $14.8 million. They bought the home in 2003 for $6.2 million.

--The Santa Monica home of late film star Jean Simmons has been listed for $3.895 million. The listing is here.
--Producer and So You Think You Can Dance" judge Nigel Lythgoe listed his Hollywood Hills home in February for $2.649 million. The sale recently closed for $2.3 million.

--Louis Gonda has listed Manhattan penthouse pied-à-terre at 28 East 70th Street for $16 million. Brown Harris Stevens' agents Richard Ferrari and Drew Glick have the listing.
--Chevy Chase's former estate at 19 Lee Avenue in East Hampton is on the market for $33 million. The property is broken up into two bits, the $25 million property with a 10-bedroom main house and the adjoining one-acre property with a closer-to-the-ocean 18 Lily Pond Lane address and a "charming" 1940s four-bedroom home, plus its own pool for $8 million. Both are listed with Prudential Douglas Elliman's John Golden.

--Former Chicago Blackhawks defenseman and team captain Adrian Aucoin has cut the asking price of his six-bedroom house in Hinsdale to $1.995 million from $2.099 million.Aucoin paid $2.15 million in late 2005 to buy the house new. The listing is with Dawn McKenna of Coldwell Banker Residential.
--Chicago Blackhawks right wing Troy Brouwer has paid $675,000 for a three-bedroom duplex condominium unit in Roscoe Village.
--Aon Corp. Chairman Lester B. Knight has paid $3.2 million for a unit in a new luxury high-rise on the Gold Coast.
--New Orleans Saints running backs coach Bret Ingalls sold his four-bedroom, brick Georgian house in Evanston on April 23 for $660,000. He bought the home for $870,000 in 2006.

--via Curbed, Och-Ziff chief financial officer Joel Frank and his wife Lynn paid $9.4 million for a third-floor condo at 15 Central Park West last October. But now they're buying an apartment downtown, too, a 1,200-square-foot pad at 99 Jane Street for $1.5 million.
--David Schrader, a former senior managing director at Bear Stearns, has sold his 12th-floor apartment at 30 Fifth Avenue for $1.95 million.
--via New York Daily News, disgraced lawyer Marc Dreier's condo at One Beacon Court sold at auction for $8.2 million after 45 people placed bids on the 3,000-square-foot pad. The buyer is Ajit Jain, a protégé of Warren Buffet and the head of Berkshire Hathaway's reinsurance group.
--David Salomon, co-founder of California-based Financial Asset Trading & Technology, and his wife Joanne, have picked up a condo at 530 West End Avenue for $3 million.
via the Real Deal, the Broome Street building where Heath Ledger died in 2008 has changed hands. The property's lender, Donald Burns of Palm Beach Mortgage Management, paid $15 million for the building.
--Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman has paid $2.65 million for an apartment on the second floor of 79 East 2nd Street.

--The Jonas Brothers may be close to buying a mansion in Alpine, New Jersey. The approximately 8,000-square-foot home is a five-bedroom Colonial is in the $10 million price range.
--Lorraine Bracco has found a buyer for her Hudson River hideaway in Trey Anastasio, the lead singer/guitarist of Phish. He is in contract to buy her cottage for around $2 million. We checked out this home in 2007 when it was listed at $3.2 million.
--Real estate investor Gerhard Andlinger is in contract to buy a 1920s home on Sherwood Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut. It has been quietly been on the market since April at around $19.5 million.

--Nicolas Cage has leased a unit in the downtown Biscuit Company Lofts with an option to buy. He may have picked up a 3,500-square-foot penthouse unit, which was listed at $4.9 million.

--Baseball player Edgardo Alfonzo has reduced the price on his home in Little Neck, New York. It went on the market in late 2006 for $8 million and has now been lowered at least four times since then is now listed at $5.3 million. --New York Jets linebacker Bryan Thomas has taken his Huntington home off the market and has decided to rent the property instead of selling.

--Slash has finally sold his five-bedroom "lawsuit house" in the Hollywood Hills, possibly to San Diego Padres relief pitcher Randy Wolf.
--An update of the real estate moves of Hilary Swank, she paid $5.8 million earlier this year for a place in Pacific Palisades and told W Magazine that she left New York because of the high real estate prices (Swank and ex-hubby Chad Lowe sold their Manhattan townhouse for $7,050,000 million in January) but likely her romance with her former agent John Campisi, who is L.A.-based also had something to do with it. --The buyer of Ricky Martin's former apartment in the Time Warner Center have signed a contract to flip it for around $17.9 million. Martin bought it in 2004 for $6.8 million and sold it in September 2006 for $9.75 million.
--Fewer than a third of the 201 coveted apartments in Robert A. M. Stern's complex 15 Central Park West near the foot of Central Park, at West 61st Street, have now closed. But of those, five apartments were put back on the market almost instantly and more listings are likely.
