ivanka trumpIvanka Trump learned the art of personal branding well from her famous father. When Ivanka married New York Observer owner Jared Kushner over the weekend she made sure to deck herself out in jewels from her own diamond company. To accessorize her Vera Wang gown she wore a total of $265,000 in diamonds and platinum including a custom-designed, platinum and mixed-cut diamond hair piece ($45,000) mixed-cut diamond cluster 9.67 carat earrings ($130,000) and an art deco platinum and a 26-carat fancy-link diamond estate bracelet ($90,000). The World's Hottest Billion-Heiresses

Forbes has just taken a look at the world's most promising billion-heiresses, introducing us to our new favorite filthy rich twins, Kathrine and Cecilie Fredriksen (above). The 25-year-old blonde daughters of Norwegian shipping magnate John Fredriksen, who's worth $4 billion, each have a seat on the board of directors of their father's companies. Kathrine became a board member of oil trading company Arcadia Petroleum earlier this year.

Cecilie has been on the board of Aktiv Kapital since 2006. The twins, based in London, have worked on various parts of their father's oil and shipping empire for several years. Others featured in Forbes' survey of 25 well-heeled hotties include Marta Ortega Perez, daughter of Spain's richest man - featured in our billion-heiresses post from last year (pictures here), Sir Richard Branson's daughter Holly and of course Ivanka Trump. MCM at The Plaza

MCM display at the new Plaza boutique!
Whether you've never heard of the MCM brand or you remember it from the 80's, MCM is making a new start in the United States.

The brand left the U.S. a number of years ago due to hush-hush reasons having to do with their previous owner, Michael Cromer, but stayed alive and well in Europe and Asia (you've seen these designs -- think supermodels' luggage). They have since changed their name from Michael Cromer Munich to Mode Creation Munich, and are running under new leadership: one of the most famous businesswomen in Asia, Sung-Joo Kim.

As the Plaza in New York City completed their renovations this winter, MCM moved in their first American shop in decades. We headed right down to 58th and Fifth Avenue to check out the exciting new store, which has already been visited by Heidi Klum and Ivanka Trump!
