Delta Indios Pens

This is the latest in the series of indigenous people pens from Delta. This year's line is Indios, which celebrates the indigenous people of the Amazon. The many ethnic groups in the region were called the Indios by the Portuguese explorers and that term is still used today in Brazil. The pens are made of brown and black resin except for the celebration version of the pen (shown above) which is made of Amazon green and brown resin. It has an 18K hand-carved gold ring separating the resin colors and there is a gold disk at the top of the cap which portrays a parrot. The celebration pen is a limited edition of 40 pieces and sells for $2,400. Other versions sell for for $325 to $695.
