Icelink's Latest Ambassador, Santa Claus

Icelink, purveyor of six timezone rectangular diamond-heavy watches has found a rather interesting new ambassador, good old St. Nick. That's right, the brand has released a press releasing saying that they have "signed an exclusive deal with Santa Claus." They say that starting this year Santa Claus will fly back and forth across the skies of all the continents with the 6Timezone Santa Snow watch on his wrist. The 6Timezone Santa Snow replaces the diamonds of the Snow watch with rubies. We hope Santa is being well-paid for his promotional abilities and donating his proceeds to needy children.

Diamond-laden watch brand Icelink has launched something a little lighter for summer. The latest version of their six-timezone watch is called Bikini and features 12 brilliant diamond stars set into the intersection of the hours and places on the steel case. The watch has a bracelet exchange mechanism so the band can be easily swapped out. The retail price of the 6Timezone Bikini starts at $8,500.

IceLink Floating Diamonds Watch

IceLink is showing off a new version of their bling-laden six-time zone watch at Baselworld. The watch has a the same basic style as previous models, in an 18K pink or white gold case with six carats of diamonds spread out over the face. This one has a high fidget factor. There are diamonds in the middle left tank that float in a mysterious liquid known as IceFuel. The bottom left tank features the gold IceLink lion in a calendar feature. The rest of the tanks feature four different time zones (three are labeled, New York, Tokyo and Moscow) in different styles. The dial is mother of pearl and the band is black crocodile. While the floating flurry of diamonds is cool to look, I think it would be hard to respect someone I met who was wearing this watch. It makes a distinctive statement, I'm just not sure it is a statement most people want to make. It sells for $54,500.

The latest watches from Icelink offer a alternative to the blinding all-diamond face of their six time zone watch. The Senator collection for women features watches like the one seen on the left which is stainless steel with 3.50 ct. of Diamonds on the bezel and crowns. The watch has a red dial and a crocodile band and sells for $14,900.
Even more understated is the watch on the right from the men's Ambassador collection which is stainless steel with a carbon fiber dial and a crocodile leather band and sells for $3,500. Icelink has also launched a line of ceramic, stainless steel and ceramic jewelry.

Matt Leinart For Icelink Watches

icelinkwatchArizona Cardinal quarterback and 2004 Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart will be the first face of IceLink Watch, a diamond-heavy line of luxury timepieces. The company will use Leinart in its first-ever national advertising campaign starting this November. Icelink has signed Leinart to a four-year, seven-figure agreement through the 2010 NFL season. IceLink Watch will also provide support for the Matt Leinart Foundation, a learning center for underprivileged and disabled children. It's an interesting fit since Leinart never struck me as a particularly flashy guy and yet the watches, the most lavish of which is the six-time zone Ambassador shown here are definitely for those looking to attract a lot of attention to the wrist. Icelink already has an impressive list of celebrities on their website including many athletes and musicians proudly showing off their ice-heavy wrists.
