HB Special Roadster Offers a Neo-Classic Motoring Experience
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

If you've ever dreamed of driving a vintage roadster across Europe, there are many companies that can help you turn your fantasy into reality. Few have the experience of Dutch brothers Tino and Paul Huet, but what really sets their classic rally tour service aside is the vehicles they use. Unsatisfied with the cars already on the market, the Huet Brothers decided to build their own.
The HB Special, as it's called, borrows its chassis from a classic Triumph roadster, but builds upon it with a classically-inspired carbon-fiber and aluminum body and bespoke interior made in the spirit of the Aston Martins, Ferraris and Maseratis that challenged the great endurance races of the 1950's. The HB Special can be driven as part of the Huet's HB Experience tours, but particularly enamored customers – no more than ten each year – can commission their own to take home for prices ranging from 67,000 to 80,000 euros, which goes to show that you can put a price on exclusivity.
