Fringe is everywhere lately! And I like what Marc Jacobs did with it on this Boho Woven Hobo bag. The body is comprised of dark brown/taupe leather with a metallic, embossed leather basketweave overlay that continues down to create the long and multi-tonal fringe trim along the sides and bottom. It also has a little padlock detail on one side, an adjustable shoulder strap, silver hardware with zip-top closure, and a brown satin lining with both open and zip pockets. A great all-season accessory for $1,795.

The tassels are neatly threaded through this bag's soft Italian leather exterior, giving it a boho-chic appeal and a beautiful shape. The light-catching silvertone hardware enforces the look with attractive metal eyelets.

This 13¼"W X 10¼"H X 1½"D bag is lined in white and features a full 21" drop strap, making it a true crossbody. This bag would look best worn with long hair, jeans and preferably a well-decorated guitar case, but we're willing to be flexible about that last part.

The Botkier James Leather Hobo is stunning in a color that's hard to find.

This pale, almost whitewashed-denim blue is all supple leather, accented with goldtone hardware, blue criss-cross stitching and pretty, feminine tassels on the exterior pockets. Though we were first attracted to its shade, the shape is also plump and womanly -- and the pleats are charming.

The bag is 17½"W X 13"H X 3"D with a zip top and lined in a soft, creamy beige. This color makes an excellent contrast to the pale metallics of this spring, and is large enough to be your work bag, while still seeming sweet. We'd love to see this paired with ballet flats to complete the relaxed, sublime look.

Due to the shape (the depth of the plunge and the width of the opening, gathered at a small point at the top), when you throw this over your shoulder, it becomes a major part of your outfit, even though on its own, it looks somewhat nondescript.

The MCM North/South Leather Hobo is fabulous bag with a versatile look.

Somehow, MCM managed to make this bag look as though it was accidentally atomically reassembled incorrectly. This tumultuous, jumbled, twisted style is artful and deliberate, and delightfully expensive-looking without being too flashy.

This suede-lined work of buttery black leather is 17"W X 12"H X 5"D, and includes an inside zipper pocket, three open pockets and one magnetic flap pocket, as well as a magnetic closure. We love the bright silvery hardware and long tassel which add to the bag's unusual mystique.

This bag is like an M.C. Escher; I feel like I could stare at it all day and not quite figure it out.

The Donna Karan Eldridge Plisse Hobo is a true accomplishment in modern craftsmanship.

The pale golden Italian calf leather is pleated as elegantly as if it were satin, creating a sleek, shiny, relaxed effect. The pleats cascade from contrasting round button details, and can even be folded in at the sides to achieve a more compact shape. We love the way the straps weave into the structure with a peekaboo at the top, and the lovely, gem like goldtone tag.

This hobo is a glamorous choice for a work bag, but at 19"H x 17 1/2"W x 4"D, it's also a sensible one. Though it's too large to get away with in the evening, you could easily fit a clutch purse inside for unexpected happy hours.

The Nancy Gonzalez Croc Savvy Hobo is a cheerful and striking purse with a subtle modernity everyone will surely be imitating soon.

What really impresses us about this purse is the innovative shape. By adding multi-strap detail to the base of the top handles and inching them toward the center of the bag, a half-egg shaped line is achieved over an artfully ruched, wide boat of a body. The overall effect is very attractive, and we haven't even gotten to the fact that this bordeaux-colored beauty is made of rare, valuable Caiman fuscus crocodile.

The hobo is 7 1/2"H x 14 1/2"W x 4"D, has a magnetic snap closure, and features interior zip and cell phone pockets in a cream lining. Looking into this bag is like peering into the delicious center of a slice of red velvet cake. And now we are hungry.

We just can't seem to get away from the studs this season and here's another incarnation of the trend: the Studded Ball Hobo by Olivia Harris. As I'm looking at this stark white bag by Calvin Klein we've just had an official blizzard here in the Midwest and everything is covered in crisp drifts of white snow. Although I think this Zero Gravity Hobo was intended to evoke vibes of outer space it fits in perfectly as a 'snowball' also. It's clean, minimalist style includes a perfectly symmetrical spherical silhouette with small, understated logos on the front and on the handle studs.
