For appearance, most people want a flat panel TV because it allows them to make the best use of their space. High definition is the clear winner in the picture quality department, but when you combine HDTV with a flat, plasma screen TV, the costs can go through the roof if you want a TV of a decent size. The solution is to go through the wall instead of the roof. Optoma offers a Big Vizion In-Wall HDTV, which is a 100-in. rear-projection TV that is built into the wall, giving it the look of a flat panel TV at a fraction of the cost. Given that a 71" HD plasma can cost up to almost $70,000, this gorgeous big-screen is quite the bargain, priced at about $20,000.
