Hudson's Bay Company for Colette

Still think they don't make 'em like they used to? The Hudson's Bay Company does. The trading company traces its roots back over three centuries when trappers and hunters were roaming the untamed Canadian countryside. Today HBC is a department store – and a Canadian landmark – but they still sell their original product: the HBC Point Blanket.
The blankets were originally used to trade for pelts and the like, and remains today an icon of indelible quality. (Take it from this writer, who just got one as a channukah present.) Now the Bay has teamed up with Parisian fashion house Colette on a special collection that, of course, includes the famous blankets, but continues the multi-colored stripe motif on such items as scarves, hot water bottles and even a special-edition Swiss Army knife. Perfect for taming the wilderness, but even better for contemplating it from the warmth of your home.
