H.M. Warner Home, Estate of the Day

Today's home takes us to the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles and a home commissioned to be built in 1923 by Harry Warner of Warner Bros. Studios. The Georgian Colonial was designed by architect Burnside Sturges and has the plaque to prove it. The corner lot also includes a tennis court, pool and a guest house. The home has remained much of its original charm although in some areas the current decor leaves a bit to be desired. The basement is home to the original screening room with maple paneled walls and a movie projection booth. It was listed at $4.795 million but has been reduced to $4.195 million.
