BMW 5 Series by Hamann

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

If you're enamored of the latest BMW 5 Series but can't wait for the M5 to come along, may we suggest you look to the aftermarket. BMW always attracts a fair deal of attention from independent tuners, and now Hamann has stepped up with a customization program specific to the new 5.

The catalog consists of a body kit (with a new front bumper, adjustable front lip spoiler and daytime running LEDs, side skirts, rear apron and diffuser and a pair of spoilers), matte black 21-inch wheels with polished rims, a 35-milimeter dropped suspension and a four-tip exhaust system along with carbon fiber and aluminum trim for the interior. A series of engine modifications are expected to follow shortly.

Hamann Presents the Custom Rolls-Royce Phantom

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

For an affluent motorist looking for a top-of-the-line luxury automobile, there are only a few choices: the Rolls-Royce Phantom, Bentley Arnage and the Maybach. If you find the Bentley to be too archaic and the Maybach little more than a gussied-up Mercedes S-Class, then the Phantom is clearly your choice. The thing is, it's also bound to be your wealthy friends' choices as well. So if you want yours to stand out a little, you can now turn to German tuning house Hamann, which is offering a range of modifications to the Phantom saloon and Drophead Coupe convertible to give it a little extra attitude. The package includes 23-inch wheels to replace the 21-inch rims on the stock Phantom, a custom steering wheel for a more sporting feel, and engine modifications to bring output from the 6.75-liter V12 up from 460 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque to 535hp/615lb-ft. With all the extra power and the limiter removed, the Hamann Phantom is ready to cruise to an effortless 300 km/h (187 mph).

'Matte' the HAMANN Ferrari F430 Black Miracle

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Matte finish paint seems to be all the rage these days in higher-end vehicles and concept cars (BMW M-series, anyone?), and HAMANN has no problem jumping on the bandwagon, down to the bright orange 20-inch rims. The company's new modified F430, dubbed the "Black Miracle," features orange and black matte finish, showing off ground effect details, brake calipers, wheels, side-view mirrors and bold racing stripes down the middle in bright orange, with the rest of the body beautified in black. The secret is in the foil treatment, which, if the owner would like to see glossy finish again, can be reversed.

HAMANN decks out the interior as well with the color scheme, and even adds lambo doors for show. Even with the paint job, however, no Ferrari modified this heavily visually could earn the street cred it's due without some performance modifications as well: the ECU and exhaust is modified for 50 extra horses, and special HAMANN suspension completes the low-slung feel.

The Gallardo, Now With Wings

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Is this really necessary? Check out the latest tuner kit for a Lambo. Inside Line brings us this Gallardo tuning package from Hamann Motorsport. The regular Gallardo has scissor doors that swivel up plain old hinged doors. That's not enough for Hamann, they've created these wing doors that open up and out. Wings will also be available for the Spyder version and older 500-horsepower Gallardo models and they are also working on wings for the BMW 6 Series and the Ferrari F430.
