The Aspen One Skiing Glove And Watch

aspen watch
Watch brands come up with some fantastic things to liven up their brand or products. Here for instance is a high quality skiing glove with a "porthole" for your watch. This is offered with timepieces sold by Aspen Watches, a Swiss luxury brand of Skiing themed watches with the name of the popular Colorado skiing destination. The brand's watch is customizable and known as the Aspen One. The Aspen One gloves, come as a set - and you can even specially order the right glove to have the porthole if you wear your watch on the other wrist. I first discussed the Aspen Watch brand here.

I first wrote about Aspen Watches here, but since then have had the ability to check out the pieces. They are attractive watches, with simple designs that often appeal to American buyers. The dial has the time and a chronograph, with the large watch containing a Swiss ETA 2894-2 automatic movement. The nifty watch holds a secret and the case opens up revealing a compass. While open, you can see the watch movement through an exhibition caseback crystal. There are many styles of the Aspen One watch to choose from. Even a DLC coated case and of course, diamonds.

When shell out the money to get a limited edition Aspen One watch, the brand wants you to feel as though you are part of an exclusive club. As such, you get your name on a little plate attached to an Aspen One monument. Where is the monument? Located high up on Aspen Mountain at 3,267 feet. There is also a special series of indicators around the compass that can be specially uses to locate things while being on Aspen Mountain with the Aspen One watch. Just ask yourself, how much do you love Aspen, watches, and skiing? If you are a fervent fan of the three - this might be a watch for you. Around $40,000.

Mirrored Furniture from Horchow

Horchow Nothing brightens up a room like a mirror. It distributes light and creates the illusion of more space. In Feng Shui, it is recommended to hang a mirror opposite the door of a room (harmony or vanity, the world may never know).

One way to take even greater advantage of the reflective benefits of mirrors is to incorporate mirrored furniture. Nothing looks cleaner than a perfect mirrored panel, and nothing sparkles day and night with such pristine glamour.

Horchow currently has an excellent selection of mirrored furniture, for example the "Autumn" mirrored chest at right. As you can see, the mirrors make the decorated chest a standout piece of furniture, and special enough to give as a gift. See the gallery for more items, and pick up a pair of vintage gloves from Vintage Hat Box to avoid smudging.

Fairway Skins Ladies' Golf Gloves

Ladies' golf glove and pouch maker Fairway Skins Co. introduced its new line of butterfly-design gloves, made from the finest cabretta leather ($36). In keeping with the company's signature floral designs, each of the six new species rests on a colorful botanical, creating gloves that seems almost too nice to use on the course. Six classic floral designs also are available. Fairway Skins won a "Best New Product" award at the 2007 PGA Fall Expo and last year the company was awarded the GolfTest USA "Seal of Excellence" for the superior quality, value and performance of its products. See the gallery for a few of the new designs as well as classic styles and pouches.

Argument Chair

Next time you order up a big fight on Pay-Per-View wouldn't it be nice to keep with the theme and sit back to watch it in a chair made of boxing gloves? My first reaction to the Argument Chair was to laugh, and my second reaction was "wow, that actually looks really comfortable." It would make a great conversation piece and bring a bright shot of color to the right room.

It's made of real leather Everlast boxing gloves on nickel plated hardened steel and is hand-crafted in limited edition. It features locking casters on the rear legs and adjustable front legs for stability on uneven surfaces. $5895
