G-Cut Creates a New Look For Ties

What's old – and in this case, Native American – is new again, with the obligatory twist. Take a bolo tie, substitute an actual tie and a fitted metal ornament, and you've got the G-Tie. Designed by G-Cut's Gabor Norman, this is not to be confused with a clip-on or any such frippery, since you still have to actually tie the tie. The G-Tie is the sterling silver piece that clips on over the knot and might be everything you've ever wanted to say about wearing a cravat.

The G-Tie comes in two sizes, regular and skinny, and four finishes, shiny, brushed, charcoal, and bronze. Nor will they damage your Italian silks, having been designed to painlessly clasp the knot, not puncture it. G-Ties range from $75 to $135, and bowtie wearers can join in on this one as well: there's a G-Bow on the way.
