Chateaux Society, High-End Fractional

Chateaux Society is another addition to the fractional market aimed at those who could afford a second home of their own but choose not to for ease of use. They currently have two fractional homes, Chateaux Society Kauai and Chateau Society Vail. The Hawaii property has six shares at $2.5 million each (seven weeks use), while the Vail property has 10 shares at $1.5 million each (four weeks use). Annual membership is also around $30,000 for common charges.
Why go fractional at the price you could buy a whole home for? The properties of the Chateaux Society are huge, the Vail home is 7,128 square feet. It has six bedrooms, including a master suite with a sitting room and sun porch and there is also a two bedroom guesthouse plus office. Gilbert H. Holmes of the Interior Design Group, an acclaimed interior designer, is furnishing the Châteaux Society-Vail with custom furnishings. Owners at the Vail chateau also get access to a variety of local clubs and services including Colorado Ski Country Gold Passes giving them privileges at all Colorado ski resorts. Helium Report interviewed founder David Disick last December and found that future homes are planned for Jackson Hole, Manhattan, Punta Mita, Mexico and St. Andrew, Scotland. After the jump, another exterior shot and a look at the proposed interior design.
