Teddy Tours Toy Travel
Tired of coming home from vacation and getting guilty looks from the stuffed animals you left behind? Teddy Tours has the answer as they will take your favorite stuffed buddy (not you, just him) on a dream vacation to Finland. There are several itineraries available featuring trips to various Finland cities, a river cruise, visit to a reindeer farm, trip to see Santa, and horseback riding. And since you don't get go with your toy everything is documented in photos.

Prices for Teddy Tours range from $140-$216, which seems competitive with the other toy travel agency we covered not too long ago. The fact that two of these strange companies popped up suddenly begs the question: is this traveling toys thing a real trend?

Finlandia Charity Water Bottle Project

Finlandia Vodka Sigg Water Bottles
Finlandia Vodka is celebrating both their own 40th anniversary and that of Earth Day by releasing four limited edition Sigg water bottles featuring designs by Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi. Each design represents a different element from the heart of Finlandia (the Midnight Sun, its untouched nature, six-row barley and pure glacial spring water) and all profits will go towards supporting four different global environmental projects. "As a Finnish artist and proud of my heritage, it was a pleasure to partner with Finlandia on this project to benefit so many great environmental charities," said Haapaniemi. "I hope my designs bring color and fantasy to Finlandia and glamorize the nature and the wildlife of Finland."

The limited edition bottles will be available starting May 3rd on finlandiawaterbottle.com for $28 each.

Finlandia Celebrates the Summer Solstice

In the far north of Finland the sun does not set for 73 straight days during summer. This "midnight sun" helps give Finlandia vodka its crisp, clean taste as the endless summer allows its key ingredients, six-row barley and pure glacial spring water, to flourish.

Traditionally, Finns have celebrated this phenomenon on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. The cities empty as they commune with nature in the countryside, taking advantage of the incredible bounty of their unique locale. To mark the occasion, Finlandia has come up with some refreshing new summer solstice cocktails. Here's how to make the Mango Midnight Run pictured here:

2 oz Finlandia Mango Fusion
2 oz cranberry juice
Splash of lime juice

Mix and serve in a cocktail glass over ice. Garnish with a wedge of lime.

Keinu Rocker

You have to admit that rocking chairs have been around for a long time because they tend to be both comfortable and very relaxing. The staid image of a rocking chair is too dull for most modern tastes, however. The Keinu Rocker gives a somewhat futuristic twist to the classic design. The Finnish rocker, designed by Eero Aarnio, is made of leather and chrome-plated steel. It features an ergonomic seat and has a stopper halfway up the front blade in case you become a touch overenthusiastic about rocking. The only drawback is that it is only offered in yellow, while we think that white would look a bit more elegant. Price: $4,000.
