Many animal furs or skins have been used to create unique handbags in the past but I think this one is a first for me! Fendi's Skunk Fur Peekaboo Roll Bag features fine leather and soft skunk fur with an adjustable crossbody strap for $1,970 available for pre-order currently on Saks.com. Although the bag is made in Italy the skunk fur originates in Canada. I'm just curious but is there really a market for skunk furs?? Are they raised for this purpose or is it just a way to recycle roadkill? Although I love the neutral tones of the handbag and the significant stripe created by the skunk fur I'm just not into the idea of stinky creatures as an accessory. While I do like the combination of pink and black, this pattern makes me a little dizzy. The Fendi Large Twill Bag is a classic bag that is ideal for everyday use. It is large enough to hold all the odds and ends that get you though the day, with a zipped pocket to help keep you organized. Made of a very fine twill, the bag has a large Fendi Selleria logo and braid detailing on the front of the bag; the back is blank. It is trimmed in rich brown leather which is accented with the designer's signature contrast topstitching. The hardware is all silver, including the logo-bearing tags on the belt-like top closure, which is woven through the top of the bag and buckles in the front. Price: $2,690.
