The 38-year old McConaughey has long been a heart throb for many women but now he will be helping Dolce & Gabbana appeal to the senses of men... their sense of smell that is. Although the new cologne will not be released until next year, and its details are under tight wraps, their new face of D&G has been spotted shooting for the ad campaign in Paris already. I think they've made a great choice... bronzed skin, ruggedly handsome and still a bachelor, Matthew McConaughey should serve them well.

Luther Vandross Auction

Luther Vandross passed away back in 2005, and what remains of his estate will be going up for auction next month. He was well known for his individual taste and among the many many items up for sale there's no shortage of things for the kitchen. Place settings, serving dishes, wine goblets, and champagne flutes name a few -- all with brand names like Tiffany, Baccarat, and Lalique. He also had a lot of art deco items, Gianni Versace coats, and art geodes. Quite the interesting collection!

Of course there's much more going up on the block including his jewelry, books, rugs, a even an old massage chair. The auction will take place on December 5th and 6th in Morris Plains, NJ by Dawson and Nye.
