Isaac Hayes Estate Sale Taking Place in Memphis
Legendary singer Isaac Hayes was beloved for a variety of reasons from his theme from "Shaft" to his role as Chef on South Park. Hayes died last year at the age of 65 and on February 10th-15th starting at 9:00 in the morning, items from his estate go on sale at Ewing Storage at 4250 East Shelby Drive in Memphis, Tennessee.There will be around 1800 items up for sale, the results of a life that took him around the world. He bought art and object from Africa, China, Singapore and other places. Some key items include a Roland keyboard and other pieces from Isaac's home studio. There is also a portrait painting of Isaac Hayes as Black Moses that is selling for $2,500 dollars as well as plenty of magazines, CDs and records featuring Hayes. Even his treadmill is up for sale. The estate sale website has images of some of the items including the portrait. A video preview is after the jump.
